Isaiah 5:14 - 6:13
Last Letter, we finished with Isaiah 5:13 which was at the end of God delivering His
message dealing with the ‘woes’. Many of God's people were then during
Isaiah’s time, and are today, in a terrible state, because "they have no
knowledge" of His Holy Word, and therefore have fallen into a state of degradation.
When God says that His people have ‘no knowledge’, He is not referring to
material knowledge of the world, but to knowledge eternal, of His Word Jesus Christ, Which
gives true knowledge of our previous existence, the reason why we were born in this flesh
body, and the ultimate end of this age, and the start of the next. How can material
knowledge of the world compare with this Divine Knowledge from our Father? It won’t
even come close. In this sense, material knowledge should be considered as
‘tools’ necessary for sustenance in the flesh body that may be acquired,
upgraded, discarded, etc., for survival; but His Knowledge feeds our souls, and makes us
‘breathe’. The ‘tools’ of this world are temporary and will in one day
all be gone, but His Word has and will last forever! In today’s world, we have become
a bunch of ‘techno junkies’. Many have expertise in high technological fields
that requires years of specialized training, but many of these have no ‘true
knowledge’ that will preserve their soul. Just going to Church to socialize
won’t get It either. As you can see with the previous verse of Isaiah 5:13,
God’s people are not being taught His Word, for there are no real leaders of the
people. How about today friend? Nothing has really changed, except new inventions that are
supposed to free up time, but instead entrap us all the more.
Let's continue with our Father's Word in given to Isaiah the
prophet as we ask a blessing from Jehovah for understanding in Christ Yeshua's Name, Amen.
Isa 5:14
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:
and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend
into it.
This word ‘hell’ is Sheol in the Hebrew, and
it's also translated to ‘grave’ or burying place in some
KJV verses. You could consider this as Hades or the abyss if you wanted; the message of this
verse can also point to that place in heaven across the gulf opposite from God, called
Hades or hell (see Luke 16:19-31). God is expressing that since His people ‘have no
knowledge’, the ‘grave’, which is normally four by six feet, is
enlarged to accommodate a multitude, much like a mass burial grave. The sense of this
message here, is that of being 'spiritually dead', without True knowledge from God's Word.
And again, this message is mainly to the 'leaders of the people', the priests and the
rulers. How are things today in those groups? Do we have responsible leadership today? Can
we find God's Law being followed starting at the top and reaching downward to the people?
Does our leadership of today set just examples, following God's moral Law, and if not, how
long ago in this nation did a righteous condition amongst our leaders as a whole exist?
Isa
5:15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be
humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
Isa
5:16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and GOD That is holy
shall be sanctified in righteousness.
Has this happened yet? No, so this is yet future. It will happen when The True Messiah
returns to start His reign upon this earth, which is God’s Millennium. It is written
in Philippians 2:10 that every knee shall bow to Jesus Christ. That means everyone, all
souls, will recognize Jesus Christ as KING of kings and LORD of Lords.
Isa
5:17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the
fat ones shall strangers eat.
The
things of this world will have come to naught when God sets up His Kingdom.
Isa
5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were
with a cart rope:
‘Cords’ here mean ‘a rope’. This verse implies
‘Woe to those who sin by the cart load, and pull that cart around with them with a
rope’, and they haul that cart around for everyone to see.1 This is
not talking about all sinners, for we all fall short in the flesh. This verse applies to
those who enjoy sinning. They don’t care if they commit sin, for they openly show
their ‘cartload’ to everyone as wares. These will even teach others how to get
their very own ‘cartload’ of sins to parade for show and tell. 'Misery loves
company' is the old saying,

5:19 That say, 'Let Him make speed, and hasten His work, that we may
see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we
may know it!'
This
verse is God speaking; He's mocking the cartload sinners. They are blasphemous with,
"Bring it on God, hit us with your best shot, we’re ready to see what You can
do, etc." Boy are they going to get it! Remember how Satan tried to tempt Christ in
the Gospel? This is of that same sort of blasphemy that the ‘cartloaders’
murmur.

5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for
light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Remember the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah? The perverse abounded in those cities, and God
destroyed them. How many of today’s ‘politically correct’ ideals would fit
in with the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah? No wonder the perverse sinners hate Christians,
because the perverse don’t like the idea of their ‘cartload of sins’ being
downplayed as worthless nothings, when they treat it as a trophy. This twisting of evil
for good, and good for evil, is a message that applies also to the false Messiah. Did you
know that there is a false messiah coming first, before Jesus, and that he is going to
portray Jesus in order to deceive as many as would? If not, then you better get down to
studying God’s Word, for it is written, and that is exactly the way it’s going
to happen. Satan playing the role of messiah is the ultimate twist of putting evil for
good. Satan has already been sentenced to perish in the lake of fire, so naturally he
wants all the company he can get to go with him. But God’s people, that love The
Lord, and try to follow Him have been given power over Satan and his hosts, through the
power of Jesus Christ. That’s the main reason the true Christian is hated today, for
they through God’s guidance can even dispel all the false teachings that exist in the
systems of man which have crept into God's house (i.e., Temple).
Isa
5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes,
and prudent in their own sight!
All
wisdom comes from God. There are those in this world that have claimed to be sent from
God, those who claim that God speaks to them, those who say that they are God, and those
that believe that each one of us are gods within ourselves. The True God is without sin.
Who in the flesh is without sin? Read Ezekiel 13 and you’ll find out what God thinks
about all of these doctrines, creeds and precepts of men.
Isa
5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength
to mingle strong drink:
This verse is saying, "Woe to those who are mild men that use strong drink to become
mighty men". Have you ever met a man that when he gets a little liquor down, he
becomes a tyrant, blasphemous, and haughty? There are those in this world who use alcohol
as a badge of courage, instead of relying on God. This ‘woe’ is for them. In
essence, anything that becomes our ‘crutch of courage’ instead God is an insult
to our Father. He loves His children so He wants us to do good, relying on Him when we
need help. That act of relying on our Father, instead of ourselves when we are in need
shows 'faith' in God. Many modern educational systems attempt to separate the natural
connection of relying upon God for guidance. They try to teach a 'do it yourself'
discipline. True science is the discovery of God's Laws in action throughout nature. The
fact that God gave man dominion over all the earth can be considered a type of test also;
and as man 'discovers' God's Laws as applied to nature, it's tempting to want to play with
the powers of His creation, committing unethical decisions with the results of these
scientific discoveries that belong to God, i.e., cloning, biological warfare, etc. I'm not
saying all science is bad, only that some areas are very contemptible
with the Lord
(cloning). These that wield this scientific power for their own gain, are essentially
using it as a 'crutch' for their own shallow faith system, excluding our Father in their
living. This brings me to a thought on the idea of cloning. Do you think that cloning is
but an attempt by the 'faithless' to disprove the act of the creation of the universe by
God? Can cloning be verified beyond a doubt, or is there a possible cover-up, lying to the
people, because cloning might be in reality, unsuccessful?
Isa 5:23
Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the
righteous from him!
The
idea from the last verse is carried forward. These same ‘strong men’ oppress the
poor in spirit and take bribes (reward) for it, while praising the
‘lawless’ ones. These kind of people don’t believe in God, so they easily
justify anything that proves to their benefit.
Isa 5:24
Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the
chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as
dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of
the Holy One of Israel.
Here’s
what God will do to them. ‘Stubble’ and ‘chaff’
refer to the parable of the ‘tares’ given by Jesus in the Gospel. Christ gives
us the identity of the ‘tares’ in that parable (see Matt.13). The idea of the
‘blossom’ is that it gives ‘fruit’, so since these
‘blossoms’ won’t bear good fruit, they are cropped off, or turned to ‘dust’.
They ‘despise’ God’s Law. They ignore God, and His teachings, hence they
ignore true reality. Well, when does all this consuming of the 'chaff' happen,
one might ask? When Jesus returns as King of kings, and Lord of lords to set up the
Millennia Kingdom on earth. (Whoops! We’re in the Old Testament here. I thought we
didn’t live in the Old Testament anymore? Be careful friend, for Satan has his
ministers that teach the Word also. See 2 Cor.11)
Isa 5:25
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against His People, and He hath
stretched forth His hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble,
and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this His anger
is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
‘Stretched
forth’ means His hand is stretched out in judgment. This is in the sense of
punishment for correction for those of His people, and destruction for those who do not
love Him. The word ‘torn’ is ‘cuwchah’ in the Hebrew,
meaning ‘a sweeping’, i.e., ‘dung’. In other words,
‘their carcases are as ‘dung’ in the streets’.
Isa
5:26 And He will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto
them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
The
word ‘nations’ is ‘goy’ in the Hebrew, meaning Gentiles
‘nations’. The word ‘hiss’ is used in the sense of a bee swarm.
What swarm is talked about in the Book of Revelation? This is the ‘locust army’
of Satan coming upon us soon in these latter days. Remember, God is allowing this to
happen. This locust army will be given power to sting those who are not sealed with The
Word of God in their minds for five months, hence the seasonal time of the locust, May
through September. This ‘stinging’ is not literal, for it represents the power
of the locusts to ‘deceive’ men spiritually into worshipping the wrong Messiah,
Satan who comes first. This will happen when Satan sits in the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem
(see 2 Thess.2, Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 28).
Isa
5:27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep;
neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be
broken:
This ‘locust army’ will come swiftly to deceive with full strength, for Satan
knows that he has a short time. But the elect of God, will not be deceived, nor sleep
during that time, for they have a special mission to fulfill. There is a parallel to God's
elect being under our Father's protection during Satan's tribulation (see Matthew 24; Mark
13; Luke 21). You'll find in Rev.6:6 that they are to "...hurt not the oil and
the wine." That word 'oil' is 'elaion' in the Greek, meaning 'olive
oil' (Strong's 1637). This 'oil' and the 'wine' are symbols for Christ's people, as
the olive oil is the 'anointing oil', and the 'wine', a symbol for Christ's blood shed
upon the cross.
Isa 5:28
Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs
shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
Isa 5:29
Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young
lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away
safe, and none shall deliver it.
All
of this is metaphor. God is using these figures of speech to impress in the mind the
seriousness of the matter of waiting for the True Messiah, Jesus Christ. For those who
don’t, and worship the first messiah who claims to fly the people away, the whole
affair is going to be like spiritual lions ripping souls apart. (see Rev.9 for a further
description of this locust army.) The ‘arrows’ of this locust army are
the ‘fiery darts’ of Satan, i.e., lies, deceptions, etc. God warns His
people of this time and how to prepare for battle. Let’s turn to Ephesians 6:
Eph
6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
The
idea behind this flesh world we live in is a spiritual war. We are part of that war. There
are only two sides, and I’m going to explain it this way: you can be with God or
against God, for He also created the angel called Satan, and controls him. There are those
in the flesh who follow God and thus know of His presence in their lives, and further,
gain knowledge of a spiritual existence separate from this physical. There are those also
who practice the negative side (followers of Satan), or pervert the power of God's Law,
and by this, they know of the presence of spiritual evil, also separate from this flesh
existence. Both sides know that the other exists and that God is real. Even in heaven,
there is a separation between the sides or realms (see Luke 16) of God and Satan. This
separation began after Satan's rebellion (see Gen.1 with 'Day' and 'Night'), and will
continue until the final Kingdom (the eternity after God's Millennium) is set up on earth
again, as it was in the Paradise of Genesis. Now here's the question: where does this
place those in the flesh who don't recognize, or admit that this 'spiritual war' is
reality and not myth? If you know this, it's time to stop messin' around and help others
that have been given to know this also.
Eph.6:13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Be
‘able to withstand’ in what ‘evil day’? ‘In
that hour’ of temptation, when delivered up to the synagogue, to allow testimony
by the Holy Spirit speaking through the elect against Satan, that’s the ‘evil
day’, howbeit, more evil for Satan since the Word will dispel all of his lies
and convert many to the Truth. This is a particular time, and has not happened yet. It
will happen in our time, for we are living in the last generation on earth (see Matthew
24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 about that generation, the generation of the fig tree. I also
have two studies on the 'parable of the figtree' in my Archives).
Eph.6:14
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness;
Now
we know what the ‘girdle of their loins’ in Isaiah 5:27 was, a
‘girding’ of God’s Truth. This act of 'girding' is what the soldier did in
preparing for battle by bringing the belt up and securing their garment for running. The
‘breastplate of righteousness’ is symbolic of the Hebrew priest, which
God’s elect are in the spiritual sense.
Eph.6:15
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Note this says ‘with the preparation of the Gospel of peace’? That
means knowing what God’s Word says, understanding the Plan. That’s what gives
true ‘peace’, and is also the ‘armour of God’. This is the ‘latchet
of their shoes’ back in Isa. 5:27 that will not be broken.
Eph.6:16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all
the fiery darts of the wicked.
If
there is no faith, there is no Holy Spirit. They both go hand in hand. God’s Armour
is manifested by His Holy Spirit, the power to battle against Satan doesn’t come from
us, but from the power of The Lord. As a servant of The Lord, having faith, means relying
on Him, and not man.
Eph.6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word
of God:
This
is the weapon of the elect, the Word of God. We could say that 'salvation' is the
'chin strap' holding the 'helmet' on. Anything else won’t cut it. Those who
battle Satan with the sword of men, i.e., guns, etc., will perish. Only with God’s
‘two-edged sword’ that ‘cuts both ways’ will we obtain victory. That
‘Sword’ is Jesus Christ, and He is the Hope of our salvation by believing on
Him. Now back to Isaiah:
Isa
5:30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea:
and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light
is darkened in the heavens thereof."
To
‘look unto the land’, are those who seek refuge at that time to other
things instead of God. These are six woes, which is also the number of Satan, who comes on
the sixth seal, the sixth trumpet, the sixth vial, 666. Many teach that this
‘man’ who is the number 666, is a human Antichrist that will be born of woman.
Not so, for even God calls Satan ‘a man’ in Ezekiel 28. The name Gabriel in the
Hebrew means ‘man of God’, and Gabriel is referred to as a man in Daniel 9:21.
Flesh man was made in the image of God. We have the image of God, so we favor Him in
likeness, as also do the angels. The ‘antichrist’, which is another name
representing Satan, will not be born of woman, for it is nowhere written in God’s
Word. The word 'man' there referring to the 'antichrist' in Rev.13:18 is the word
that has caused many interpretations to stray. It is written in Rev.12:7 that Satan will
be cast down to earth along with the fallen angels during the end time. Get ready friend,
for we who are living in this last generation are about to see some very miraculous events
happen right before our eyes. Those not versed in spiritual matters, that are Biblically
illiterate, are not going to be prepared. They will look and are looking to false prophets
for guidance. Those materialists on this earth will be totally shocked and will believe on
Satan. As written in Ezekiel 28, God made Satan the ‘full pattern’ of beauty.
This little rebellious cherub is going to do more than just pull rabbits out of a hat when
he comes to earth, in person, along with his host of fallen angels.
Isaiah Chapter 6:
We continue with Chapter 6 in the great book of Isaiah. It is important to remember that
much of this book of Isaiah is prophecy, in that, a lot of it hasn’t happened yet.
Don’t let any man tell you that the Old Testament is not important. It is as
important as the New Testament, for It is all the Word of God. As Jesus would say
in Matthew 5:17: "Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I
am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." How could Jesus ‘fulfil’ the
Law if we were not told in the Law of His first advent on earth, the mission of dying on
the cross for our salvation, for it is written in the Old Testament? (see Psalms and
Joshua).
Moreover, the Law and the prophets tell us of His second advent
to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords, the Millennium, and the eternity. It is not
possible to fully understand the New Testament without understanding the Old Testament.
Genesis is one of the keys to understanding Revelation. If you just study the New
Testament, you’ll only get bits and pieces of God’s overall Truth. The Gospel of
Salvation is included in the whole Bible, not only in the books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
John. Just think how much God could use you as His servant, if you know His Word, and are
able to teach others. There’s a price to pay for teaching God’s Truth though, it
comes with hardship in this world, but God will look after you, if you are truly His
servant.
Also know this; those who teach are judged first. If you teach,
know your subject and how to use the tools to take The Word back to the original
languages, and most of all, use God’s Word as the interpreter, not your own. This is
why many are misled today, because a lot of so-called teachers of God’s Word think
that they were called by God to preach, but their teaching of other things instead of the
Word is where the proof resides, and there are many that get up in front of a congregation
and drive the emotions high, but never get around to teaching God’s Word. Just about
anyone can do that. How do you think God feels about someone who claims to be teaching His
Word, and they never get around to It, teaching man’s traditions, and foreign
doctrines devised by some system organization in some far away city? So be thorough, we
all make mistakes. Know that by teaching you can make mistakes if you allow your own ideas
to replace God’s Word. Thankfully, our Father teaches His Word in usage of parables,
figures of speech, and idioms that recall objects of His creation which everyone can
relate to. So the teacher’s job is to bring these everyday object lessons alive, in
the people’s minds. The Companion Bible and a Strong’s Concordance
are two of the most excellent tools to help the teacher, short of reading the original
manuscripts in the original languages.
This sixth chapter of Isaiah is an analogy of God comparing
Himself to earthly kings, or false kings, of which the latter, can't 'hold a Light' when
matched to our Father. Israel originally had God as their King in the beginning of their
residence in the promised land, but the people wanted an earthly king like the nations
around them. God told them that if so, they would be oppressed by this earthly king. The
people still wanted an earthly king, one they could see with material eyes, and this is
one of the problems even today when worshipping The Father. Man seems to prefer ritual and
ceremony, religious icons, i.e., things seen with the eye, in order to worship our Father.
He doesn’t like it, won’t tolerate it, and has continuously punished His people
for these things down through the ages. Let nothing come between you and our Father, not
ritual ceremony, icons, or even loved ones. When King David aspired to build a Temple unto
The Lord, God mocked the idea and inferred that the Tabernacle tent was good enough for
Him, as written in 2 Samuel 7. Many even today fall into this idea of ‘doing for
God’, what they think God will approve of in their limited mortal minds, instead of
digging into His Word to find out what He wants us to do for Him. What about those
Christians living in third world nations that are not allowed to build a Church building,
are they still having Church, even without a tent? The Lord does not want us to worship
Him in any other way than in spirit and in truth. The place this is done, is secondary to
God. This idea also includes ritual practices that God does not teach us to observe, that
are not given within His Word, but instead, are set up by traditions.
Isa
6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a
throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.
King Uzziah died of leprosy as written in 2 Chr.26:22-23. Isaiah is having a vision of God
upon His Throne, in comparison with Uzziah, an earthly king. This is a message for us not
to rely upon earthly kings, or leaders, but upon God instead. "Well how do we do
that?," you might ask; by studying and doing His Word. The word ‘train’
in this verse is ‘shuwl’ in the Hebrew, meaning ‘a skirt, or hem
of a garment’.

6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he
covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
The
seraphims are ‘burning’ or ‘shinning ones’. These are creatures that
surround God’s throne. They looked like man, thus made in the image or likeness of
God. In this verse, they each had six wings. In Ezekiel 1, they had four wings. Thus, are
these wings 'bird wings', or something else?

6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is
the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory."
We have three cries for emphasis of the solemnest
of God’s Presence. What man
deserves this reverence? None.
Isa
6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of Him that cried, and the
house was filled with smoke.
‘The posts of the door’ means the base of the threshold. This is the
threshold of the sanctuary. This ‘smoke’ represents His Holy Spirit.
Isa
6:5 Then said I, "Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man
of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a People of unclean lips: for mine eyes have
seen the King, the LORD of hosts."
Isaiah, as any man would be, is humbled at this experience. This verse should make one
think about anyone claiming that God talks to them personally. Note the word ‘King’
in this verse; this is a comparison between the True King, and those of earthly realms.
Isa
6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which
he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7:
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, "Lo, this hath touched thy lips: and
thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged."
This
hot ‘coal’ came right off of God’s Altar. The fact that this ‘coal’
touched Isaiah’s mouth, symbolizes the Holy Spirit. This is all meant in the
spiritual. God’s Holy Spirit ‘purged’, or made atonement for Isaiah’s
impurities, for he was to speak God’s Word to the people. God is a ‘consuming
fire’ in the sense of the spiritual. When His Spirit touches His people, it
doesn’t burn them, it warms them with His Presence. Note that Isaiah was also a
'sinner' as we all are in the flesh.
Isa
6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and
who will go for Us?" Then said I, "Here am I; send me."
Since
this hot ‘coal’ off of God’s altar had purged Isaiah, he was ready
for whatever task God wanted. God’s people likewise have this attitude when gifted
with the Holy Spirit.
Isa
6:9 And He said, "Go, and tell this People,’Hear ye indeed, but
understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.’
This is about those who have ears to hear physically, and eyes to see physically, but not
spiritually. ‘Go, and tell this People’ is a message that if you do have
eyes to see, and ears to hear, go tell them anyway, in other words, warn them. Why? In my
opinion, even though God has put a ‘slumber’ upon many, His Word must be taught
in order to bring back into the fold those who can ‘see’ and ‘hear’
spiritually, that may be drifting into darkness. Remember Paul? What was Paul doing before
Jesus converted him on the road to Damascus? He was persecuting God’s people, and
Paul didn’t come to The Lord, The Lord came to him, showing that he was
‘chosen’ and elect. There are many that may still be waiting for the message of
God’s Word that are supposed to ‘hear’ and ‘see’ in this earth
age. Therefore, the Word must be taught.
Isa
6:10 Make the heart of this People fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut
their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with
their heart, and convert, and be healed."
Jesus quoted this in The Gospel in Mark 4 and Matthew 13. Paul also quoted this in Acts
28. There are several other references to this verse in the New and Old Testaments. The
whole idea to this verse is the written Plan of God contained within His Word, covering
the beginning of His creation, the ‘mystery of iniquity’, i.e., the evil
bloodline offspring, the knowledge of that first earth age, why we were born into the
flesh, the mystery of Salvation through Jesus Christ, and knowledge of the events leading
up to the second coming of Christ, and the start of the third heaven and earth, or the
eternity.
Within this verse, we also have the true meaning of a ‘convert’.
It is ‘shuwb’ in the Hebrew, and it means ‘to return’.
Return to what? A ‘return’ to remembrance of our previous existence with God, in
our spiritual body, at the time of Satan’s rebellion and before. This is the meaning
of being converted, not just believing on Jesus Christ only, but true remembrance of that
first earth age also (believing that Christ is the only Begotten Son of God, and that He
died on the cross for our sins, and was resurrected, is of course, the first step, and is
required for salvation, so don't think I'm playing down the role of Christ as Savior). It
is this idea from God, of our previous spiritual existence, and a future 'everlasting
life' with Him that gives true peace in a world going to ‘ruin’ again, as it did
once before, an age not of flesh, but of the spiritual, hence before Gen.1:2 (see also
Jer.4:23-27, and Isaiah 45:18 for another reference to ‘void’, ‘vain’,
and ‘waste’). This is what the ‘healing’ is, the
healing of your mind, back into remembrance, which will allow God to enlighten your soul
back to Him, which thus allows taking part in the first resurrection of the elect that
will reign with Christ, on earth during God's Millennium.
If you remain wrapped up in a flesh understanding, relying
on things seen with your physical eyes, you will not understand this idea. The meaning
behind ‘convert’ and ‘eyes to see, and ears to hear’, is to
realize the temporary state of this flesh existence, and have awareness of the realm of
the spiritual, and I don’t mean the bogie man either. Much of the confusion in the
world about the spiritual nature within us is fabricated, in the sense that many false
teachings of the spiritual nature are designed to prevent our ‘return’, or
‘conversion’ to the remembering of that previous existence. I’m not
referring to past lives, or reincarnation either. Those are dark glasses to hide the Truth
from God’s people. The world has reached such a state of confusion that the many
orders are now openly teaching their rhetoric from the ‘mystery school’
traditions which remained hidden from the eyes of the uninitiated for centuries. Our
‘One Nation Under God’ is now become ravaged by pagan leadership and morals. The
occult centers are now almost wholly out in the open for all to see without fear of being
censored. Why? Because the world has bought into all these occult teachings of past lives,
spiritism, evolution, psychic hotlines, remote viewing, astral projection, contacts with
the Masters, socialism, ‘new world order’, global U.N. controls, etc. Remember
the message at the start of this Chapter 6, of God making the comparison between Him as
the True King, and the earthly king Uzziah that the people followed because they could see
this earthly king, but not God?
OK, I’m going to digress a little here into the
spiritual, because I think it’s needed at this time. As written in I Cor. 15 by Paul,
we all have a ‘natural’, or physical body, and a 'spiritual body', both existing
together at this present time. The spiritual body is from God, was created by Him in the
beginning, i.e., when the universe and this earth was first established according to
Gen.1:1. So how old does that make our souls or spiritual bodies? Probably older than this
earth is the answer. Since we know of many ruins such as dinosaurs and fossil remains, and
if our souls are older than those objects, then why don’t we remember them? Because
God placed all souls in the flesh to His pleasing and purpose (see Jer.1), and according
to ‘election’ as written in Romans 9. This was done to destroy that remembrance
of our previous spiritual existence, to see who we would follow, God or the cherub God
created called Satan. Once our remembrance is recalled through believing on Christ as the
Son of God, repentance to our Father, baptism, and study in The Word with prayers of
guidance from our Father, and the will to honestly seek our Father; we become again,
‘sons of God’ under Christ Jesus. That's the same name describing the fallen
angels in Gen.6, because even they were ‘sons of God’ since they also are
God’s children created at the same time our souls were. We have all heard the
expression, "He’s an old soul", describing someone that seems wise. The
mystery is that all of us are ‘old souls’, in the sense of having been with God
in the beginning. The fallen angels nor Satan were ever, or will ever be born in the
flesh. Why? Because they made their choice to rebel against God in that first earth age.
This is also why God brought destruction upon the hybrid 'giants' at the flood of
Noah’s time, and ‘also after that’, or after the flood of
Noah’s era, for Israel was commanded by God to rid the earth of the offspring of
giants, produced by the fallen angels mating with the daughters of flesh Adam (eth'Ha
adham). This is also how we know that since the fallen angels of Gen.6 could mate
with flesh earthly women, that is also how it was possible for Satan to mate with Eve, in
God’s paradise, causing the offspring Cain, which is also why he is not in the
genealogy of Adam at Gen.5, and also explains the phrase ‘of that wicked one’,
as written in 1 John 3:12. The word ‘apple’ is not there in the Scriptures of
Genesis, that’s a doctrine of man. Many of you will know that this is the Truth, for
some reading this will hate me for saying it, calling me racist, and others will start
recalling that time of old and will begin understanding. An awareness of the existence of
the spiritual realm is very important.
Science knows that matter is made up of various tiny
elements unseen by human eyes, except through the use of, let’s say an electron
microscope. We also know of various ‘waves’ or ‘rays’, like x-rays,
gamma, etc. that can’t be seen with the naked eye. Can we feel a radio transmission
going through the airwaves? It is very easy to get bogged down in this flesh existence
because it is most easily seen, but don’t rule out the spiritual realms. Most people
don’t pay any attention to the spiritual realm because they heed all these false
doctrines of ghosts and goblins, etc. Why do you think Satan keeps portraying this false
spiritual phenomena of ugly demons and monsters, etc. in movies? It is to scare you away
from spiritual understanding. If Lucifer can make you think that ugly monsters and
‘gray aliens’ are what exist in the spiritual realm, it’ll keep you
thinking in the flesh. Satan is a beautiful cherub as described in Ezekiel 28, so how do
we account for his being portrayed as an ugly demon with horns, a pitchfork, and red
flannel underwear? Don’t misunderstand me. I’m not condoning occultism.
Occultism is the practice of God’s spiritual realm inverted, or perverted;
that’s why the upside down five pointed star is a symbol for occultism, and Satan's
realm. Satan, being a creation by God, must use God’s natural Law, only that he
perverts God’s natural Law according to his evil nature. The kicker to all this is
that, God is controlling Satan to test us (see Judges 2, 2 Thess.2). So don’t
disregard the existence of the spiritual. It is just as real, and essentially more real
than this flesh existence, if you understand the idea of that first earth age existence.
God is not going to destroy anyone that is ignorant of His Word.
That’s what the Millennium is for, because Satan and his little workers will not be
allowed to distort the teaching of The Word during that time. Everyone will have an
opportunity to hear the True Word during that time, and everyone will recognize The Word
with the limits of the flesh mind removed, for we all will be in that
spiritual body as written in I Cor.15.
Isa
6:11 Then said I, "LORD, how long?" And He answered, "Until the
cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly
desolate,
The
word ‘wasted’ is Hebrew ‘sha’ah’, or ‘to be
desolate’. Isaiah is asking God how long this condition of the people that ‘hear
ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not’ will exist.
God’s answer is also the one that Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 24, Mark 13,
and Luke 21. Daniel the prophet also spoke of the ‘desolation’, and
Jesus referred to Daniel in The Gospel. Turn to Mark 13:14:
Mark 13:14
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them
that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
The
word ‘abomination’ in this verse is ‘bdelugma’ in Greek,
and means ‘a detestable thing dealing with idolatry’. The phrase, ‘of
desolation’ in the Greek, is ‘eremosis’ from the root word
‘eremos’ , a ‘waste’. So this phrase taken back to the
Greek means ‘an idol that lays waste’. The historical ‘abomination of
desolation’ that polluted the Temple sanctuary, was the King of Babylon. Antiochus
defiled the sanctuary but did not destroy it. This ‘abomination of desolation’
is a man, not a condition. Consider this verse in Daniel:
Dan
9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the
midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
This
‘he’ is Satan. He is the abomination that maketh the Temple sanctuary
desolate. Our daily sacrifice and oblation today is Christ, for His crucifixion changed
that part of God’s Law, nay...'fulfilled' The Law. In other words, Holy Communion
with Christ is how we as Christians partake of the daily sacrifice and oblation now. Satan
will cause the Holy Communion to cease because those deceived will think that he is Jesus,
here on earth, as the ignorant religious systems will be teaching that Jesus has returned
as written. The only problem is that, it's written that Satan comes first portraying the
role of Messiah, in person on earth; then comes the true return of Christ to defeat Satan,
and the change of everyone into the spiritual body all takes place at the last trump,
or seventh trumpet of Revelation. It is written in II Thess.2 by Paul, that the ‘son
of perdition’, which is one of Satan’s many names, will sit in the Temple,
proclaiming himself to be God, before the return of Jesus. All these events of the false
messiah coming first and making the cities ‘waste’ and ‘desolate’,
must take place before Christ returns. When Christ returns on the last trump, and all that
are alive in the flesh are changed into the spiritual body, that’s when everyone will
have ‘eyes to see, and ears to hear.’
Now back to Isaiah 6:
Isa
6:12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a
great forsaking in the midst of the land.
This
word ‘forsaking’ is ‘azuwbah’ in Hebrew, meaning ‘to
relinquish, or leave away from’. It means the ‘great apostasy’ of
God’s people that are deceived into believing on the false Messiah, instead of
waiting for the True Christ Jesus.
Isa
6:13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall
return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in
them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the
substance thereof."
This ‘tenth’ are the elect. These have existed through all times and
generations. Even to the time of the end this remnant will exist teaching God’s
Truth, and not man’s traditions. The ‘teil tree’ is ‘elah’
in Hebrew, a ‘strong oak’. The phrase ‘whose substance is in them’,
means their ‘root’ or ‘shoot’. In other words, as the leaves of the
strong oak are fallen and consumed, the ‘root stock’ of the elect will shoot
forth again, year after year, as does a natural oak tree. That’s why God said also in
Isaiah 1:9 that the world would all be like Sodom and Gomorrah if it weren’t for the
remnant that He left in order to guide those who seek the Truth.
We
begin the 7th Chapter of Isaiah next time. I hope you enjoyed this lesson, for
our Father loves us when we get into His Word to seek true understanding and try to follow
Him, instead of the world.
