Isaiah 1:22 - 2:22

Last study we began this great Book of Isaiah. The name Isaiah in Hebrew means ‘The Salvation of Jehovah’, revealing to us The Promise God would give us, that His Son Jesus Christ would come in the flesh for the forgiveness of sins, suffering crucifixion by the hands of murderers. I left off at the 21st verse of Chapter 1 in Isaiah, and God has just asked us ‘How is it that the faithful city (Jerusalem) has become a harlot’, referring to its takeover by murderers, or the sons of Cain, the Kenites. We continue with verse 22 of Isaiah 1 and we ask a Word of Wisdom from our heavenly Father in Christ's Name, Amen:

Isa 1:22   Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

The word ‘dross’ is the leftover impurities after melting silver down. Again, this message is God speaking to His people, and especially to the leaders of the people, spiritual and political. Their pure metal should be like silver when they are obedient to God, but now is dross, scrap, and worthless. The ‘wine’ is a symbol for the Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross for forgiveness of sins. You’ll find wine being used many times to refer to Christ and His people in The Word. Wine is used because through fermentation, all impurities come to the top, and are lifted off, leaving a pure pristine fluid, which makes this a good analogy to our Savior. In this verse God is saying that even their wine has become impure, mixed with water, in others words, their view and teachings of The Word have even become watered down, because what is God’s message in this Chapter? Rebellion, against Him, against following Him and His Word.
Let me ask you friend; how many places can you go and hear the True Wine of God’s Word, full strength, and not watered down by a bunch of spoon feeders? Don’t get me wrong, I love my brethren in the Churches, but it’s a little late in the day, spiritually speaking, and many of God’s people are not being prepared to withstand the ‘fiery darts of Satan’ (See Eph.6; Ezek.13). As Paul would say in I Thess. 5:19, ‘Prove all things’. The Word is our Proof. That’s how we know if we’re being taught a bunch of lies, or God’s Truth. If you haven’t studied His Word enough to ‘prove’ what you’re being taught, then you can easily be deceived. It’s as simple as that!

Isa 1:23   Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

The rulers have been taken in by ‘thieves’, or the Kenites, accepting ‘rewards’ (bribes) and ‘gifts’, while justice for the people who put those leaders in office are neglected, and not even considered. Hey, this sounds true even today, doesn’t it? I know we have some representatives in our Government that are trying to do right, but frankly, they’re a minority, and are up against a wall (don’t confuse this with political minority and majority in parties, that has nothing to do with this message). Look around at the policies the free nations are making. Do they fit in with God’s Word? Do these policies reveal Him to the peoples by fair judgments and decrees for all? Fair judgments and decrees also include 'fair discipline'; each should receive award or discipline according to their acts. How often do you see hard-line criminals spend time in prison, and then are released for good behavior, only to commit crime again?  Do they receive righteous judgments from those in power to give it?  How many convicts are kept on death row for years, tormenting the inmate, and preventing God's justice to be done? But now our justice system cries over crowdedness, and that we need to build more prisons. Why?  Because justice is not done against evil, and the righteous go unrewarded. For those who think I'm being a right-wing extremist here, you better re-read this 23rd verse again.  This is exactly what our Father is saying, that's the message of this verse.  God is saying that those 'in power' who have the ability to judge righteously and consider the plot of the poor, i.e., widow and fatherless, are instead taking bribes to allow evil to continue, and not only that, they act and judge in order to 'attract' more 'rewards' for themselves. That is the sense of the phrase 'companions of thieves' in this verse. Let me ask you friend, does this verse fit society today, or only Isaiah's time?

Isa 1:24    Therefore saith THE Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, "Ah, I will ease Me of Mine adversaries, and avenge Me of Mine enemies:

Remember back in verse 19 of this Chapter that God said He would give us ‘the good of the land’ if we are obedient to Him. That was a blessing. So don’t get upset over this verse if you are in Christ Jesus. It’s not meant for those who follow God and His Word. This 'easing' of God's 'adversaries' will happen when Christ returns to this earth, setting up His Kingdom on this earth, ruling with His 'elect', using a 'rod of iron', as written in Psalms 2:9; Rev.2:27; 12:5; 19:15. Those that knowingly commit evil are not going to get away with it. All is remembered, there is no escape for them.

Isa 1:25   And I will turn My hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

God will take away this ‘tin’ and our ‘dross’, leaving only the silver. ‘Tin’ is shinny like silver, but the two can't hardly be compared. This ‘tin’ is Satan and his offspring, the Kenites. It is used as another metaphor for how Satan and his children like to appear as God’s people, but their ‘metal’ just won’t quite make it through God’s purifying fire, for God is a ‘consuming fire’ as written in Heb.12:29 and Deut.4:24. Those ignorant who follow Satan unknowingly, and are ashamed when The True Christ returns, because they love The Lord, but had worshipped the little angel Satan who will play the role of 'a pseudo messiah' in our near future, will have a chance for their 'tin' to be purged away during God's Millennium. That will be a time of learning for them, with no obstructions, no distractions of the flesh, no hindrances by Satan, for he will be locked in his prison during that time (see Rev.20:2). Then, after the thousand year reign of Christ Jesus and His elect upon this earth, Satan will be loosed again to go out and deceive (tempt) those people who wrongly worshipped the 'false messiah' before Jesus' return (see Rev.20:3,7).  Everyone, and I mean everyone, will hear God's Truth eventually; undistorted, untainted, the full 'vintage of Wine'. However, even upon hearing, and truly understanding His Word, many will still choose Satan during that thousand year millennium.

Isa 1:26   And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

'The city of righteousness, the faithful city' has an interesting word order in the Hebrew. 'The', before 'city', in Hebrew is 'tsedeq', which is also the same word as 'righteousness' in this verse, which means 'natural, moral or legal' (Strong's no. 6664). What's the subject been so far in these last few verses?  Righteousness, fair judgment, proper and moral litigation, or law. In other words, the reason why the justice system is ineffective in many cases, is because of the lack of 'moral litigation'. You can't have fair and just law unless a 'moral sense' goes along with it. And where does that 'moral sense' spring from?  Our Father Jehovah of course, from His Law, not man's. Man can not know true 'righteous' moral judgment on his own within himself. He will always fail without doing it God's Way.
This restoration of 'judges as at the first' has not happened yet. This is yet future. God will restore Jerusalem under the reign of His Son Jesus Christ. (See also Ezek. 44:23, of the Zadok priests in that city during the Millennium.) This verse has the connection between true morals (from God), and righteousness all in it.

Isa 1:27   Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Connect this verse with the previous one. ‘Converts’ are Christ’s people, the elect. The elect are represented ‘with righteousness’ here because not all that love Jesus will worship Him, but will stumble at The Word, and worship the false messiah, i.e., Satan, because they allowed themselves to be misled by false teachers and false doctrines that are not part of God’s Word, instead of coming to our Father and understanding His Word for themselves. Also, this 'Zion' does not represent the Jewish people only, and I'm talking of the true believers of Judah. If you'll remember in Ezekiel 37, God stated that He will put the 'two sticks' back together when His Kingdom is set up on this earth in the future. One 'stick' represents the Ten Lost tribes of Israel, named there as 'Joseph', 'Ephraim', 'house of Israel', and the other 'stick' represents the tribe of Judah (Ezek.37:15>). Believers on Christ Jesus from all peoples and nations will be included also (Rev.7). That is the real 'Zion' referred to in this verse. Therefore, I hope you realize that we are getting ready to see an attempt to establish a 'false Zion' in our near future upon this earth. It must and will be established in order to prepare for a 'false messiah' to sit in God's Temple, on mount 'Zion', in the third Temple, now at this time being prepared to be re-built (see 2 Thess.2, Matthew 24; Mark 13, Luke 21, Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 14).

Isa 1:28   And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

God is a ‘consuming fire’ (see last verse of Heb. 12). The ‘transgressors’ are ‘rebels’. ‘Forsake’ means apostate, that is, to have once known and worshipped the Lord, but turn away and worship something else. This is talking about the great Apostasy that we are now in today, for many having once searched for The Lord have turned away following their own designs, and the ways of men. Those that are truly trying to find the Lord by studying His Word instead of listening to false traditions, will not be harmed by God’s ‘consuming fire.’ Even though we are all sinners, in the sense that none are perfect except Christ Jesus, this is what repentance and the Blood of Christ is for. These ‘sinners’ in this verse refer to those noted in verse 4 of this Chapter 1 of Isaiah, evildoers, corrupters, those that hate God. The ‘consuming fire’ will purify our ‘silver’ and get rid of our ‘dross’. For the evil ones, their ‘tin’ will melt.

Isa 1:29   For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.

These ‘oaks’ are the idols the ‘corrupters’ chose. ‘Oaks’ represent ‘grove worship’, the carving of graven images in wood, similar to totem poles, for the purpose of worship, the setting up of stone idols in Molech worship, etc. (Amos 5; Acts 7). This represents all false worship, anything that gets in the way of following the True Christ. ‘Gardens’ allude to the ‘tree in the midst of the garden’, in Eden, the ‘tree of knowledge of good and evil’, which is a metaphor for Satan, the cherub which God originally created 'good' (Ezekiel 28), but became 'evil'. God uses many analogies to make sure we get the deeper meaning, so try to picture these things together: the ‘false tree’, oak grove, false gardens or orchards, idol worship.

Isa 1:30   For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.

These false idols of wood, stone, etc., don’t speak, they don’t have life, offer no protection, give no blessings, and have no 'water' of that True Fountain of Life that is Jesus Christ (see Rev.21 & 22). So why would man follow them instead of the Lord of Hosts Who is the only Living God? Be careful, because these idols can even be your car or your house, or a loved one that you might put first, instead of God. There’s nothing wrong with having those things, as a matter of fact God makes His people wealthy, as long as they do it for Him, and they don’t allow ‘things’ to take over their lives. The more wealth you own in this world, only the more to take care of in this life, and someone else will always be trying to take it away. I can hear all those clichés....'the one with the most toys..', but I don't buy it.  We own nothing in this world.  We are only given the right to possess. Have you ever wondered about how the first land property title came in being?  Who did that first person buy it from? Now I'm not saying go out and sell or give away everything you own, just realize how you can become attached to 'things' in this world that have little importance in the world to come in Christ Jesus. God knows the things we need, and He provides for those who love Him.

Isa 1:31   And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them."

‘Tow’ in this verse is a ‘wick’ as used in a lamp. ‘The maker’ represents God. God is a ‘consuming fire’ remember? This ‘wick’ of those who ‘forsake’ The Lord won’t make it under His ‘fire’. Those who are in Christ, and are not deceived by the false one, are the righteous ‘wick’, and will burn with the ‘oil’ of God’s Lamp, the ‘oil’ of His Truth. If you remember the parable of the ten virgins with their lamps, five virgins, the foolish ones didn’t have any spare ‘oil’ (God’s Truth, See Matt.25). Their ‘wick’ was dry when Christ came, spiritually speaking. They were told to go to the market to buy oil by those five wise virgins, and then the Bridegroom came, and the door to the wedding feast was shut. This tells us that there is a definite time limit on how long we have to get the ‘oil’ (God’s Truth), so time is running out for those who let some man do the understanding of God’s Word for them, while they go about their daily affairs thinking they’re saved. That’s the way it is and this is not my opinion, it is God’s Word, like it or not (see Luke 13:23-30; Matt.7:21-27). As long as you’re trying , that’s the key.

Isaiah Chap. 2:

Isa 2:1   The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

This first verse of chapter 2 is a repeat of Chapter 1:1, though condensed. This shows that Chapter 1 was an introduction or outline for the whole book of Isaiah. Note this first verse of Chapter 2 as in Isaiah 1:1, states ‘Judah’ and ‘Jerusalem’. This is also true today, for the majority of the Ten northern tribes are not in modern day Israel. It is not recorded that the ten tribes returned to Judea, except for a small number. The subject of the Ten Lost Tribes is a remarkable Biblical and archeological study, and there are many references in God’s Word that Judah, which includes Benjamin and Levite, were separated from Ephraim which represent the ten tribes of the ‘House of Israel’. God has not lost them. (See Ezek. 37:15-28, Ezra and Nehemiah). So if you have 'eyes to see', God is telling you who resides in Jerusalem in this verse, as regarding His people. It’s the same today, it hasn’t changed all that much. This verse is further proof that The Word is not authored by man, but by God, for how could Isaiah know that Judah would be the representative of God’s people in Jerusalem today, minus the majority of the other ten tribes that were in the northern kingdom of Israel, and taken away by Assyria long ago? (read I & II Kings).

Isa 2:2   And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

See Rev. 21 for another description like this one of God establishing His Kingdom on earth. This is yet another marker of prophecy that has not happened yet. For those who believe that the Old Testament is past history, this is yet future. The words 'last days' mean just that. This establishing of 'the mountain of the LORD's house' is in the same sense as Zech.8:3 and Jer.3 (note in Jeremiah 3 the joining of the 'house of Israel' back with the 'house of Judah' in Zion; this hasn't happened yet; see Ezekiel 37 also).

Isa 2:3   And many people shall go and say, "Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths:" for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

This is referring to the Millennium reign of Christ on earth (Rev.20). Jesus with His elect will be teaching the ‘Word of the Lord’ as stated in this verse. ‘Jacob’ is figured for those elect of the ‘House of Israel’ and the ‘House of Judah’ put back together into one nation, Israel. The New Jerusalem will be enlarged to include the Gentile races in Christ also (Rev. 7;11; Isaiah 54; 11:10; 60). Teaching The Word is what the Millennium is for; to get those who ignorantly worshipped the false messiah straightened up, and give even those who willfully are deceived that follow Satan, their chance to come to our Heavenly Father without undue influence by Satan. And remember, if you’re not worshipping God, you’re worshipping Satan by default! (See Rev.3:16; Matt.12:30; Luke 16:13).

Isa 2:4   And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Still in the Millennium here with Christ as KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. ‘Swords’ are put for all types of armament, and ‘plowshares’ as implements of peace. The last part of this verse is very important. When Christ returns to start His reign, there will be no more war among the nations. Armageddon will be fought by God, as Hamon-gog will also. (See Joel 3:9-17; Ezek.38:18; Ezek.39; Rev.17:14; Rev.19).
The Kenites love to worry people with the false teaching that Armageddon will be World War III, an all out nuclear war! The Kenites in our own government are even responsible for creating the so-called Cold War. If you look at the state of the nations of Europe before W.W.II and then after, many of those free nations of pre-W.W.II Europe became communist, by the consent of our past leaders! (Remember the Conference between FDR, Stalin, and Churchill dividing up Europe?). Nuclear threat is a way of keeping the masses under control and their attention off the covert actions of the ‘beast’ system.
It seems that their new brainchild, the environmental crisis isn’t working like the Cold War did, so now we’re seeing a resurgence of Cold War nuclear tension. The only difference is the name. Today it’s ‘nuclear terrorism’ instead of the old Cold War cliché, with some added VX gas type scare tactics. I’m not saying that they won’t use this technology; only enough to make us believe the threat is real. Don’t worry, have faith in God. To be strong in the Holy Spirit is to not fear Death. These ‘beasts’ want a ‘one world government’. Who will be nuclear enemies under a ‘one world government? They don’t want to utterly destroy the face of the earth, for they want to rule over it! (See Rev.13:4). It’s almost as if the Kenite is trying to stir up God’s people to a premature battle that is not to be, according to God’s Word. Satan and his army will start to come upon God’s people, and that’s when God is really gonna’ get jealous over His people and step in to stop it. Satan and his army won’t have a chance. Even the battle when Satan is released from the pit at the end of the thousand year Millennium, will be fought by God (Rev.20). Quit letting those Kenites stir up your anxieties, for they love to present all sorts of falsehoods and they have been given the power by God to deceive you, if you allow it. That’s why anyone ignorant of what The Word really states, is an easy victim of Satan. Put on the full ‘armour’ for battle against Satan, the ‘armour’ of God’s Truth. In Truth is peace of mind, and freedom from worry. (See Ephesians 6:12-19; John 8:32).

Isa 2:5   O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

God’s people are children of the light, not darkness. (1 Thess.5). God is that light where there are only clear paths easily seen by those who love Him.

Isa 2:6    Therefore Thou hast forsaken Thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

The phrase ‘replenished from the east’ means they have taken on the divination of the east. Eastern mysticism is an ancient practice involving the worship of many strange gods. The house of Jacob refers to all of God’s natural seed, not just the Jews. These have become ‘soothsayers’ and have joined with foreigners, i.e., strangers to Christ. Don’t think this can happen in the Church today? What about Easter, which is not Biblical? The word in the original manuscripts is ‘pascha’, meaning Passover, so it was added by the King James translators, probably a Kenite in the midst. Ever wondered where Easter eggs fit into God’s Word?
What about the modern use of psychology? From William James, the so-called father of modern psychology, to Carl Jung, that field is riddled with eastern influences, and most westerners are taught that it is acceptable. I’ve heard sermons using psychology to explain God’s Word at times. For those that think I might be reaching a bit, answer this. Where does the realm of hypnotism take place in science? Ever heard of Anton Mesmer, or of being mesmerized? Mesmer, who was a charlatan occult mystic associated with the initiate fraternities, is one of the fathers of today’s field of psychological hypnotism. Carl Jung was also associated with eastern mysticism. Much of modern psychology is science based upon behavioral observation, but where does clinical hypnotism fit in? Be careful friend, many things are done today in the name of science that have their origin in eastern divination, and many teachers were taught by the college system to rely upon them, as science. If this sounds too confusing, just remember, listen to the teacher that teaches God’s Word, not man’s system; verify for yourself and you’ll eventually know when something being taught is foreign to God’s Word. There's a lot of traps out there ready to spring, so be careful. Check it out first in God's Word. Test the 'fruit', don't taste.

Isa 2:7   Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

This applies to wealth. We could say that ‘chariots’ refer to automobiles today, for a chariot is something one rides in. God is saying that since they have all these treasures and wealth, they think they really don’t need Him. They have forgotten Him, and each worships their own works. "Well, I made this and I made that, aren't I great?" "I did, I do, I am." Careful of too many "I"s in your speech, for the sacred name is 'The I Am That I Am', and God is the only rightful owner of that Title.

Isa 2:8   Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

The word ‘idols’ as used in this verse means ‘nothings, vanity' (Strong's no.457). The point God is making with these two verses should be clear now. What better way to deceive God’s people than to teach that all they have to do to be saved is to come every Sunday to Church for a couple of hours, and the rest of the week, they're free to tend to their ‘silver’ and ‘gold’, and things made with man’s hands. They have gone the way of mammon. The world teaches everyone the benefit of being financially independent, but they don’t teach you that if you do it God’s Way, He will take care of you. He knows what we need. Some need more than others. It’s according to what your service to the Father is.

Isa 2:9   And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.

The ‘mean man’ translates to hypocrite from the Hebrew. The hypocrite stoops to low designs or works, and the ‘great man’ sets himself up in baseness, or chooses wealth as the greatest aim, instead of his own salvation through Jesus Christ. Sounds like the world today doesn’t it? There’s nothing wrong with wealth, if it is from God’s blessings.

Isa 2:10    Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty.
11  The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

This ‘rock’ is lower case. Where was the serpent doomed to? The dust. This rock is Satan, the false rock. (For the deeper student: Yep, Satan wants to play the part of the ‘rock’ too, just like he is known as Lucifer, the ‘morning star’, while Jesus is The True Morning Star (Rev.22); and Satan is the Antichrist, meaning in the Greek, ‘Anti’ and ‘Christos’- ‘the instead of Christ’). Contrary to popular opinion, when Jesus returns, He will rule with a ‘rod of iron’, a rod of correction (Rev.2:27). These Kenites will try to hide from Christ when He comes, for they purposefully try to turn good people's hearts away from God (See Num.24:21).

Isa 2:12   For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

As written in Romans 14:11, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess the Lord. This of course includes the atheist, and it all happens when Jesus returns to this earth, in our near future. (You tell me, does this verse apply to Isaiah's time, or a time yet to come?)

Isa 2:13   And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

14   And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

15   And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

These four verses refer to the prince of Tyrus or King of Tyrus, who is Satan, and his kingdom of the earth. Tyrus was that false ‘rock’ of one world commerce. Tyrus was the island part of the city of Tyre located on the coast of Lebanon. ‘Mountains’ and ‘hills’ refer to those nations that are puffed up with self-pride. Tyre was also an inheritance to the Israelite tribe Asher. (See Josh.19:24-31). Hiram was the King of Tyre that provided the cedars of Lebanon for Solomon’s Temple, and he also sent servants that mixed with Solomon’s servants. (God gave commandments against this. See Deut.20). This city of Tyre was a ‘strong’-hold of the Kenite. Remember that God cursed the ground for Cain? (Gen.4). The Kenites (means son of Cain) became builders of cities, and merchants because they could not farm. (this does not apply to God’s people, if you’re a merchant, unless you follow the way of Cain, instead of God.) Verse 15 refers to the ‘tower of Babel’ built by Nimrod, which applies today also, for there are many kingdoms of this world that set themselves up high, lofty, thinking they are untouchable.
It is interesting to note that the European Union chose for one of their original symbols, the 'Tower of Babel' by the artist Hyronomous Bosch, albeit modified a little. The stars in the symbol above were all inverted (upside down) five pointed stars (The five pointed star inverted represents the perversion of God's natural creation, i.e., Satan's kingdom).

Isa 2:17   And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

18   And the idols He shall utterly abolish.

19   And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His Majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

They won’t be untouchable for very long. A great ‘shaking’ is coming when Christ returns to overthrow the false kingdoms of this world. Christ would teach that not one stone would be left on top of another, on that Day. (Matt.24). This 'shaking' God did also long ago, of old, to end the first earth age, the time of Satan's rebellion, a time before Adam and Eve in the flesh living in God's paradise, Eden (see Genesis 1:2, Jer.4, and Isaiah 45, in the Hebrew).

Isa 2:20   In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21   To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His Majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

This is New Testament also. You’ll find it in Matt.24; Mark 13; Luke 21; and Rev.6:15. Don’t worry if you’re in Christ. It won’t affect us. We’ll all be in the spiritual body. (I Cor. 15 ). Read Hebrews 12 to ease your mind if you’re are one of God’s children. Rev.9:6 tells us that in that day, some will seek death and not find it. Why? Because we will all be in our spiritual bodies. The only 'death' left after Christ returns is the 'second death', the death of the soul cast into the 'lake of fire' by God.

Isa 2:22    Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

Who put the ‘breath of life’ into Adam? God put this ‘spirit’ or ‘soul’ into man. In other words, God controls our souls, for He is the Father of them. How can man compare with God in that respect? As written in Matt.10:28, don’t fear those who can kill the body but not the soul, but the One Who can ‘destroy both soul and body in hell’.

We’ll begin the 3rd Chapter of Isaiah next time. I hope you enjoyed this study in our Father's Word.

Peace be with you in Christ Jesus,
Dave Ramey.
