Isaiah 13:1 - 13:22
Isaiah Chapters 11 & 12 were given as a comfort for God's People during Isaiah's time,
and to all at this time, the last generation of flesh, upon earth. Isaiah 12 lets us
know that God will dwell with us upon this earth in the final earth age, and we are to
declare that fact proudly and openly, even today, with boldness! Those last two
Chapters revealed the first coming of Messiah, and also for us today, the coming of Jesus
Christ at the second Advent, and the thousand year reign by Him and His elect upon the
earth, and even into God's eternity, the third earth age (aion). So how ya' doin'
here in The Old Testament? Do you now understand that much of The Old Testament has not
yet come to pass even today? Can you also understand that by passing up the prophets
of The Old Testament why the Book of Revelation can get a little confusing? There's 66
Books in our Holy Bible, between Old and New Testaments, and 66 Chapters in this Book of
Isaiah. Do you think there might be something to that, or is it just a coincidence
from man's hand?
Isaiah 13 is a Message from our Father about what He did to
the Babylon kingdom by 'His 'anointed' which He surnamed 'Cyrus'
(Isa.45:1). God used Cyrus to destroy Babylon and subdue all nations given him by God, and
he helped carry out our Father's Will in re-establishing Jerusalem and The Temple. This
all happened historically after the Babylon captivity of the 'house of Judah' for the
'seventy years'. But for us today, we want the 'blueprint' which Cyrus represents,
which will be the destruction of this Babylon World Order system which is nearly upon us
today. So I'm going to cover both together at the same time, leaning towards the
latter days. We ask a Word of Wisdom from our Father in Christ's Name, Amen.
Isa
13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
This word 'Babylon' is 'baw-bel' in Hebrew, and
means 'confusion' (Strong's no.894). If you've read my Genesis study, I covered a
little about the Assyrian cuneiform Tablets, and the Babylonia of Cain's time, which I
believe, was 'the land of Nod', east of Eden. That was the first major
region in world history to set up the false worship of 'Baal', or 'bel', so I hope you see
the association of this word with the last Babylon or 'bel' system which is the last world
empire of Revelation. The prophet Isaiah was given this vision, which this verse declares.
Isa
13:2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto
them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
God is telling Isaiah to give warning to the people, say it
'loudly', and shake your hand up in the air back and forth when speaking It, as a 'sent
one' (Apostle) given authority! Put a flag (banner, i.e. Ensign or
Christ) upon a high mountain for all to see. This is in the same sense of Ezek.37:4
telling the 'dry bones' to hear The Word of God. Not man's word, God's Word,
that's the difference.
Well what Message from God's Word is He telling Isaiah to
speak here? That God is going to destroy Babylon! As Cyrus and his host army
was used historically to do it, how's this future Babylon 'beast' system going to
be destroyed by God? God will use His People to do it with His Word through the 'cloven
tongue' spoken on Pentecost day by the Apostles (Acts 2), and finally by the return
of Christ Jesus to earth, taking over the kingdoms of this world (Rev.20). Remember that
God's elect will be delivered up to the 'synagogue of Satan' (one-world 'beast' religion)
in the latter days to give a 'testimony' for God? The Holy Spirit will speak
through God's elect at that time when this 'beast' system is fully established in
our near future. And every person on earth will hear this 'tongue' in their own language,
even in the dialect of the town or village from which they were born. Many will turn
to God through Christ at that time, for it is written that the gainsayer will not even be
able to resist that 'voice' (Luke 21:15). Still, many will hang on to their 'things' in
this material life and will not hearken. Those who accept this false Babylon will be 'snared'
and 'taken' by 'a spurious Messiah' (Isa.8;28:13; 42:21; Matt.24:40-41;
Luke 17:34-37 as 'eagles' really mean 'vultures' as prey over a dead carcass).
This phrase "that they may go into the gates of the
nobles" in this verse has a deeper meaning. The word 'gates' is 'pethach'
in the Hebrew meaning 'an opening, i.e. door (gate) or entrance way' (Strong's
no.6607). That Hebrew word in the KJV is often used in relation to the 'door of the
Tabernacle' of worship. The word 'nobles' is 'nadiyb' in Hebrew meaning 'voluntary,
i.e. generous' and translated in the KJV many times as 'a free heart'. God's
Word, when heard and understood sets us free, and our 'Door' of the Tabernacle today is
Jesus Christ, the 'Strait Gate', and all must enter in through Him by believing that He is
our Savior and be disciples of His Word, all in order to be saved from this coming
destruction.
The nations which God has allowed to give His 'warning' have been
set up for a long time now, but the 'warning' hasn't stopped. Those now who teach
our Father's Word today, even His graphic Word that many Church systems are afraid to
teach, are storming this 'warning' for all peoples of the earth, even to the enemies of
Christ. Do you think some of those enemies don't read Christian literature? You bet
they do, and some of those are even trying to use God's deeper Word to twist and distort
the facts of this coming destruction upon them, but it 'ain't' gonna' work. But some of
that group will come to our Father and worship Him after hearing. God doesn't wish to lose
any of the souls He created 'in the beginning'.
Isa
13:3 I have commanded My sanctified ones, I have also called
My mighty ones for Mine anger, even them that rejoice in My highness.
These 'sanctified ones' and 'mighty ones' are
God's elect. These are the ones who are 'called' and 'chosen', even
before this present earth flesh age. They are already 'sanctified' by our
Father as they chose and followed Yehovah and His Son Christ during Satan's
rebellion. Paul in Acts 9 is one of the best examples of being a 'chosen' one, as
Christ came and intervened directly in Paul's life, not the other way
around. That's a sign of being 'a chosen vessel' for The LORD helping to
work His Plan. These 'sanctified ones' already, even in this flesh age, belong to
our LORD, and will not experience the 'second death' which is the casting of the
spiritual body into the lake of fire, being blotted out forevermore (see Rev.2:11; 20:6;
20:14; 21:8). (To understand what it means to be 'sanctified', 'chosen', and 'called',
i.e. 'elect', see the following verses and note when some were called, meaning the first
earth age, before the foundation (katabole or 'overthrow') of this world, etc. -
Jude 1:1; I Cor.1:2; Rom.8:30; 9:21-24; 15:16; 2 Thess.2:13; 2 Tim.1:9; Heb.3:1; 1
Peter 2:9).
Historically, this Cyrus was 'called' and 'chosen', as God even
surnamed him, much as He did Isaac, John the Baptist, etc. In other words, these
were named by God Himself, and 'chosen', for His Plan. God also surnamed others, such as
Loammi, Jezreel, and the children back in Isaiah 8, but the purpose was contrary to that
of Cyrus, and there's the difference. Cyrus helped pave the way to re-establish God's
Temple at Jerusalem, even restoring the Temple instruments that Nebuchadnezzar had taken
to Babylon. God would even call Cyrus 'His anointed' in Isa.45.
There's a good work called Dan :The Pioneer of Israel,
which points out that this Cyrus and God's 'mighty ones' may have been scattered
ones of the 'lost' Israelite tribe of Dan, which some migrated to that area of Media just
north from where the armies came to destroy Babylon. This may give more importance to the
meaning of Cyrus being God's 'anointed' and these 'sanctified ones'.1
Isa
13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a
tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts
mustereth the host of the battle.
Again historically, this was Cyrus and the Medes under
Darius, joined together against Babylon. The word 'nations' is 'gowy' in
the Hebrew meaning 'a foreign nation, hence a Gentile' (Strong's no.1471).
The destruction coming upon the last world Babylon 'beast'
system, which is but a type of the ancient Babylon, will be performed by God and His
elect, as Cyrus more than likely was God's elect also, especially as it relates to our
future (hint for the deeper student on what 'Anointed' means). But the
destruction won't be done with weapons of man, but by The Holy Spirit. The future
destruction of Babylon is already set, none can stop it, for God has ordained it. So don't
worry about all the hype by some talk show hosts issuing a warning about the coming
destruction. They're teaching to the enemies of God that His hand in this destruction
is coming, as they haven't a correct clue of the 'signs' and events which God gives in His
Word. But God's own do know, and just how, where, and even the 'season' to look for
because Christ's coming 'as a thief in the night' will not surprise those who
believe on Him and study His Word.
Isa
13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even
the LORD, and the weapons of His indignation, to destroy the whole land.
This phrase 'from the end of heaven' points to our future,
not Cyrus' time. So what are the 'weapons of His indignation' of the future? It
is the 'wrath of The LORD' (see Jer.50). So when will this happen? After Christ gathers
His elect from the 'four corners of the earth', as we learned in the last two
Chapters of Isaiah 11 & 12, and in Rev.6. This 'wrath' from God will be the
seventh angel pouring his vial out upon the Babylon beast system. It won't harm those who
believe on Christ as Savior and understand His Word, and thus are not deceived by the
'false messiah'.
Isa
13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall
come as a destruction from the ALMIGHTY.
Remember, this is towards Babylon, not God's
People. It is to the sinner who doesn't care about our Father, which means ignorance
of His Word, and to be in a state of 'confusion', 'babel' or Babylon. When is this 'day
of the LORD'? We just covered it in the last Study of Isaiah being the time of
Christ's return and the setting up of His Kingdom upon earth. So this verse definitely
points to a future event, and not to Cyrus' time at all. Where's this destruction coming
from then? This verse is also giving us that; it comes from THE ALMIGHTY.
It's interesting to note at this point that the phrase 'the
day of the LORD is at hand' was used repeatedly by the ill woman Margaret McDonald in
Scotland in 1830 while upon her deathbed, who was claiming visions from our Father. I
doubt she intended the stir and future doctrine that certain ones would create out it.
Some of the religious heads of the day gathered around her and started proclaiming the
'Any Moment' doctrine, and the first false ideas of being 'raptured' away before
the first tribulation of Satan began. This Margaret McDonald, who held a pre-tribulation
deliverance view before her revelation, began to speak in an 'unknown tongue', even though
there is no such thing as an 'unknown tongue' in God's Word.2 There in
Acts 2, the 'tongue' which the Apostles spoke on Pentecost Day, was understood by all the
peoples of the different nations in the crowd, even in the dialect from which they were
born. This 'unknown tongue' which many speak today, is 'babel'. You well know the meaning
of that word 'babel' by now, as it means 'confusion', and that's what that tongue is. This
is why most who speak that 'unknown tongue' today are also caught up in the false doctrine
of pre-tribulation "secret rapture" before Satan comes as Antichrist, because both of those
deceptions were widely presented together there in Scotland after that ill woman's
hallucinations. There's not much record of the so-called "secret
rapture" doctrine in Christian
writing before that time of 1830.3 Do you think God is trying to tell
those caught up in that doctrine a lesson here in Isaiah 13, with the idea of babel and
Babylon, i.e., confusion?
Isa
13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
This
phrase 'all hands be faint' just means that man's mortal arms and hands will
droop down at the sides of the body, in weakness, or really powerless, at the coming of
our Lord and Savior. Their hearts will be full of shame at Christ's coming. Why?
Because those non-believers of the earth refused Yeshu'a Jesus Christ, and those 'five
foolish virgins' are in bed with the Antichrist, as they will believe on the fake 'morning
star' Lucifer and they will have thought he was the True Messiah, so they've already
been gathered or 'harvested', but out of season.
This idea of a false messiah coming first before Jesus does
also give us the true meaning of the Greek word 'antichristos' which is
translated in the KJV to 'antichrist'. That Greek word 'anti' means 'in
place of, or instead of', not against which most are so taught. So Greek 'anti'
and 'christos' put together actually means the 'instead of Christ'
(Strong's no.500; 473; 5547).
Isa
13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them;
they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at
another; their faces shall be as flames.
This verse is pointing to the analogy of being 'with
child' when The Bridegroom (Christ) returns. As stated before, these who have these
'birthing pangs' are those who have jumped into bed with the wrong messiah, i.e., Satan,
who comes to earth first.
If you think this analogy is too strong for virgin ears, then
you're missing one of the most important Messages from God to us living at this time
today. The whole problem throughout this flesh age is how Israel (both houses) has
turned away from God, and gone a 'whoring' after idols representing Satan's false kingdom
upon earth, Babylon. God uses this analogy very strongly even with His prophet Hosea, as
He told him to take a prostitute for wife in order to symbolize the 'harlotry' by His
People turning away from Him (Hosea 1). That Message in Hosea was especially to the 'house
of Israel', the western Christian nations of today which are the 'remnant' left from the
migrations of the ten tribes taken captivity to Assyria (I & II Kings). Those deceived
along with the ones who refuse our Lord are 'as a woman that travaileth' because
in the spiritual sense, they are already wed to the false messiah when Christ our True
Bridegroom returns revealing Himself to 'all'. That's also why their 'faces shall be
as flames' because of shame. And then they shall say to Jesus: "... Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy
name done many wonderful works?" Then our Lord will say to them:
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity."(Matt.7:22-23).
Now you should truly understand why many overtaken Church systems
would say things like, "We don't live in the Old Testament anymore. Christ came for
our salvation and gave us The Gospel, so we don't need the Old anymore; we have The New
Covenant." The New Testament constantly refers back to the Old. The meaning of
the New is found in the Old Testament. That's why so many Christians are totally ignorant
of this 'being with child' analogy, because it's fully covered here in the Old
Testament, but only hinted at in the New Testament. When Christ came at the first Advent
to be crucified, the New Testament did not exist in written form yet, so naturally when
our Lord Jesus and His Apostles taught, they assumed we had already studied the Old
Testament, as Christ even said several times, 'have ye not read'; 'it is
written' (Matt.12:3,5; 19:4; 22:31; Mark 10:12, 26; Luke 6:3; 'it is written'-
Matt.4:4,7,10; 11:10; 21:13; 26:24,31; etc., etc.).
Isa
13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath
and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners
thereof out of it.
We have yet another reference to the 'Day of The LORD' and
this 'cup of wrath' to be poured out upon the wicked. This word 'cruel' is in the
sense that because this wrath is upon 'cruel ones', such as those who have no mercy, using
Jer.6:23 as one example, so likewise God is going to let them experience some of the same.
God is most fair, and never 'cruel'. As I said before, this 'wrath' will not be
experienced by God's People who believe and trust on Him, and specifically 'wait' for His
Son Jesus Christ, and are not deceived. Consider the following given in Isa.26:
Isa
26:18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as
it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth;
neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body
shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the
dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy
doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the
indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the
inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood,
and shall no more cover her slain.
The word 'wind' in verse 18 is 'ruwach' in
Hebrew, meaning 'breath' (Strong's no.7307). It represents the 'spiritual body',
and in these verses, it signifies the casting off of the flesh body at the 'last
trump' of I Cor.15, which is the Seventh Trumpet of Revelation. After this Seventh
Trumpet, the Seventh Vial is poured out upon the wicked. It is the 'cup of God's
wrath' (see Rev.6; 19; 20; 21). Especially note verse 20 here, what God says to His true
ones who will wait for The True Messiah. They are specifically protected from this 'cup of
wrath' upon the wicked. The disclosing of the blood and uncovering of 'her slain'
refers to the Great White Throne Judgment of God (Rev.20). If we are to be in that group
that goes into the Bridegroom's (Christ) 'chambers', then we must 'overcome'
the false messiah Satan who comes first, through his tribulation. All living during these
latter days, not dying in the flesh, will be in one group or the other, i.e., in Christ's
'chambers', or cast in the outer darkness' (see Rev.3:5,12,21; Rev.12:11; 1 John 2:13;
4:4; 5:5; Rev.2:7,11,17,26 - Matt.8:12; 22:13; 25:30)
Isa
13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give
their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not
cause her light to shine.
Zephaniah 1:14-18 gives more on this event, as when this happens
we all will have been 'changed' into our spiritual body. Those who believe and
follow our Lord and Savior will shine in His Glory with Him. Isaiah 58:8 & Isa.
60 gives the opposite condition of this darkness, with those who follow our Lord, God's
People, being 'children of light', not darkness (John 12:36; Eph.5:8; I
Thess.5:5). This 'wrath' event is The Light of God and His People overshadowing darkness,
so as to make dim the sun and moon. This event is also written of by our Lord Jesus in
Matt.24:29 with the beginning of the 'Lord's Day', i.e. the thousand year reign of Christ
and His elect upon the earth (Rev.20). If you remember from II Peter 3:8 that to our
Father, one day to Him is as a thousand years to us, that should verify to you that this
'Lord's Day' is referring to Christ Jesus' Millennium reign.
Isa
13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their
iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the
haughtiness of the terrible.
I'm going to break this down in the Hebrew, so we will have no
doubts as to whom God will cause this to come upon. The word 'evil' is 'ra'
in the Hebrew and from the root 'ra'a', meaning 'properly, to spoil
(literally, by breaking to pieces); figuratively, to make (or be) good for nothing, i.e.
bad (physically, socially, or morally).' (Strong's nos. 7451;7489). That about
covers every evil we could think of going on in this world. The word 'wicked' is
the Hebrew 'rasha', meaning 'morally wrong; concretely, an (actively) bad
person' (Strong's no.7563). Remember those who haul their cartload of sins around for
show, back in Isa.5:18? This lets us know that these 'wicked' love to do
sin, and even 'show n' tell', hoping to lead others astray with them also. It's not about
those who love The LORD, but do mess up occasionally with sins, but repent and have a
change of heart, trying to follow our Lord and Savior. The word 'iniquity' is 'avon'
meaning 'perversity, i.e. (moral) evil" (Strong's no.5771). The phrase 'the
haughtiness of' is ga'avah in Hebrew, meaning 'arrogance', the same
root meaning as 'arrogancy' in this verse (Strong's no.1346). Don't confuse this
with righteous indignation, which God's People show at times to our Lord's enemies. This 'arrogancy'
is in the sense of defying God and His Authority. The word 'terrible' is 'ariyts'
in Hebrew meaning 'fearful, i.e. powerful or tyrannical' (Strong's no.6184).
So all those who love not God's Truth, setting themselves up
as mini 'gods' in the world, loving to be noticed and worshipped by man's standards, the
unmerciful, perverse, loving to do evil and push evil in the world, is who this wrath is
upon. Well what about those who teach Christ but are deceived and ignorant of God's
Truth and believe on the 'false messiah' Lucifer? Why are they with this
crowd of evildoers also? No doubt some are ignorant of the origins and false nature
of some doctrines they teach, like the pre-tribulation "secret
rapture", etc., but if they had
verified those doctrines going to The Word, they would not teach such things if they were
sincere. I've seen and heard of some Church ministers visiting a congregation as a guest
teacher, and causing a split among the members, because he wanted a following of his own
to support him elsewhere. Is that not 'arrogance' and 'self-pride'? There are too
many teachers in the pulpits who are there to serve their own immature identity crisis,
and treat teaching The Word like a business. They listen to the so-called higher critics
of God's Word instead of verifying The Word for themselves. So these deserve what they're
going to get, as they make others stray also.
Isa
13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than
the golden wedge of Ophir.
What sort of men, or 'young men' are these? It's those who
know our Father, and He Who knows us, His children that follow Him. The word 'man'
is used in the sense that all spiritual bodies have the 'image' and likeness of our Father
and the angels (Gen.1:26-27; 5:1; 9:6; 2 Cor.3:18; Eph.4:24).
Isa
13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove
out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce
anger.
This 'shaking' is also mentioned again in Matt.24:29 by our
Savior. This is yet future to us even. For Cyrus' time, it no doubt applied to the
conquering armies upon old Babylon. But for us in the future, this 'shake the heavens'
is when Satan and his host are cast out of heaven after the war with Michael (See Matt.24;
Rev.12 & 13; Rev.6). Hebrews 12 talks about this shaking, and... also refers to the
shaking of this ancient earth one time before. That time was 'of old', the first earth age
when Satan first rebelled (see Jer.4:22-28; Gen.1:2 using a Strong's Concordance). Many
have a hard time understanding that Satan is now in Heaven. And this because they have not
properly understood Luke 16 with the story of Lazarus and the rich man which Christ
Himself taught, nor the first separation between 'Day' and 'Night' in Gen.1.
Isa
13:14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh
up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
When Christ returns, He is going to be revealed to everyone. All
will come to know He is The True Christ Messiah, The KING. What will those deceived who
accept the 'false messiah' as Jesus Christ think at this event? The 'veil' of
confusion present in this flesh earth age will be removed totally! The phrase 'as
a sheep that no man taketh up' means those deceived won't participate with the Glory
of True Messiah Jesus Christ. This fleeing of every one to his own land is the separation
of the 'good sheep' who will have Christ, The Good Shepherd, and the others are the
'goats' (see Matt.25 starting at vs.31). This state of division is the 'great gulf
fixed', as given in Luke 16, a place of separation between God's People and the
wicked that now exists in heaven. It will still exist when God and heaven, i.e. The New
Jerusalem, descends back down to earth, and will continue all the way through Christ's
future thousand year reign. That 'Holy City' where God dwells did also exist on earth
before Lucifer's rebellion (Rev.12:3; 21; Ps.46; Ps.68).
Isa
13:15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is
joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
The phrase 'that is found' is 'matsa' in
Hebrew meaning 'to come forth to, i.e. appear or exist' (Strong's no.4672). Since
the subject still at this point in Chapter 13 is about the 'cup of God's wrath' upon the
wicked, those are the ones who will be 'thrust through' spiritually with the
Sword of Christ. So what is that 'Sword'? It is Christ's two-edged sword, as given
in Heb.4:12 and Rev.1:16 and is 'The Word of God', not a literal sword. So
basically, everyone is going to come to know 'The Word of God', and this whether
they like It or not, for Christ is That Word (Micah 4:2; Ezek.44:23; Isa.2:3; John 1).
Isa
13:16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their
houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
Again, these events are twofold. Once for what the Medes and
Persians would do to the old Babylon kingdom when the 'house of Judah' were captives, and
then another for the destruction of this New Babylon kingdom, which is upon us today. The
second example is in the spiritual sense, so don't get all shook up about a literal
'dashing to pieces' for our near future.
Probably the reason why God's Word is taken out of context so
often, citing this verse as an example, is because of not understanding God's Order of
events and a lack of concern for history.
Isa
13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard
silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall
have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
Gold and silver, the most stable form of money supply on earth,
will not even be able to prevent this event of Babylon's destruction. Nothing will
stop this event of Babylon's (confusion) destruction with The True Messiah Christ Jesus
coming in Power. If you remember all the being 'with child' analogies of those in
confusion (Babylon), who go whoring after the 'false messiah' and are with child, they all
apply here.
Isa
13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees'
excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
What did God do to Sodom and Gomorrah? He destroyed it with
a great burning. Are we not seeing today in the world, an attempt to re-establish
this Sodom and Gomorrah system upon earth? Know then, that the closer the world situation
approaches or can be likened to Sodom and Gomorrah, the closer we are to Christ's second
Advent (coming), and this world system's destruction. I think it's really ripe for the
pluckin' right now in our time.
Isa
13:20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from
generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the
shepherds make their fold there.
The Babylon of old, located in the Iraq of today, is basically
uninhabited, and attempts to revive it have failed. The Babylon system of now, which
is the first 'beast' of Rev.13 & 17, is to be led by 'ten kings' or world leaders over
'seven heads' which represent continents, i.e. the whole earth.
Isa
13:21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be
full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
These 'wild beasts of the desert' and 'doleful
creatures' are animals of the desert. The 'satyrs' are 'he-goats',
but also represent idols; a specific sort of idol worship. That of 'goat-demons', such as
Baphomet. Do you think that kind of false pagan worship is going on today in the New
Babylon world system? I can almost assure you it is. The false idol worship
set up
by Jeroboam in the Northern Ten Tribe Kingdom of Israel pointed to this type of worship.
It didn't just involve the 'golden calf'. This word 'satyrs' is the same Hebrew
word 'sa'iyr' which is translated 'and for the devils', when Jeroboam
set up priests for the 'calfs' (see 2 Chron.11:15; Strong's no.8163).4
See Ezekiel 8 for some descriptions of these abominations happening right in God's Temple.
This type of 'satyr' worship has been a problem with the
Ten Tribes of Israel ever since God scattered them into captivity by Assyria for it (see I
Kings beginning at Chapter 11 and forward). It's still evidently going on with all the
various occult orders in the western Christian nations today, so don't take this subject
lightly.
Isa
13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate
houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near
to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
This 'wild beasts of the islands' is a direct
reference pointing back to the previous verses of 'wild beasts' and 'satyrs' or demonology
existing amongst the Ten Tribes today. This is letting us know that the 'wild beasts', or
desert animals, did apply to the first overthrow of the geographical Babylon, but applies
to false worship in today's worldy Babylon. And I feel it's not long before that false
evil system, along with the New Babylon order will be brought down by God.
For
God's People today, who are 'sealed' with His Word in their minds, we are not to worry,
having faith and hope in the coming of our Christ, The Rock of Salvation. As the war of
today is especially a 'spiritual war', our emotions and anxieties are the subject of most
attack. Do what you can in standing up against the lies in the world by planting the
'seeds' of God's Truth. Take the Amour of The Gospel and the Sword of Christ as your
weapon, for that's the only Weapon which will defeat this false system upon us.
Peace be to you in Christ
Jesus,
Dave Ramey.
