Isaiah 10:1 - 10:11
The subject of this Chapter 10 of Isaiah continues with God trying to get His People to
listen to and follow Him, instead of our own ways, systems, and creeds. This Message God is
giving through Isaiah is not just for his era, but for us today also. In the last Chapter
9, God gave many references to the 'evil day', that is to say, the time when the 'spurious
Messiah', i.e., Satan, will cause the 'abomination of desolation' in God's
Temple. These events recorded here in Isaiah are but types, or as Paul would say in I
Cor.10:11, "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are
written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." The word
'world' Paul used in the Greek is 'aion', and it means an 'age',
or earth age, similar to 'eon', not a literal destruction of all things which God
created; only those 'elements', or properly 'rudiments' spoke of in II
Peter 3. It specifically applies to the events written in God's Word which happen upon
Christ's second coming. Now we know that the return of Jesus Christ at the second
Advent had not happened during Paul's time, so even what Paul was writing there in I
Cor.10 was for our 'admonition', or learning, even today. 'No worries mate', if
you're in Christ Jesus and are trying to do what our Father has written for us to follow.
This Chapter 10 is going to be a bit more precise in God
singling out certain false creed systems that mislead those who love our Father in many of
man's traditions. We ask a Word of Wisdom from our Father in Christ Yeshua's Name, Amen.
Isa
10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write
grievousness which they have prescribed;
This
word 'Woe' is in the sense of "Oh! Shame, shame!". Our Father is
letting us know that He's really 'irked' with the events taking place by these who work
unrighteous decrees. Well, who are these anyway? These are supposedly in charge of God's
Law, or at least they claim to be. The word 'unrighteous' here is 'aven'
in the Hebrew, and it means 'strictly nothingness; vanity; specifically an idol'
(Strong's no. 205). This word 'aven' is translated 'iniquity' in many places in
the Old Testament also. For us today, it applies to those who set up their own false
doctrines in God's Churches and claim He spoke to them, or that it is written, but do lie.
God's True House of worship is rightly called a 'Beth-El', which means 'House
of God' in the Hebrew. So then, a false house that's not teaching God's Word is a 'Beth-aven',
a house of 'vanity', of 'nothingness'. So what kind of House ('Beth'
in the Hebrew) are you supporting friend? Do they teach God's Word there that sets us
free, or just a bunch of 'nothingness' that leaves you wanting of the real 'meat'
in The Word?
Whether these who design and 'prescribe' these 'unrighteous'
decrees know what they're doing or not, meaning many of these false prophets follow the
teachings and creeds from the 'workers of iniquity', i.e., Satan's children, they will be
held responsible by God. This Message from our Father is not a light thing. Do you know of
some Church systems when a new believer comes up front to be baptized, the congregation
must first welcome and accept them into their Church before they can get baptized? The new
petitioner may even have to wait until that Church declares them worthy and acceptable to
the members. Let me ask you; isn't that Church putting themselves in-between God and the
believer with that behavior? You bet they are, even though it's been going on for many
decades in some of these Churches, traditional practice over time does not make it true to
God's Word. If you support a false system like that, hey...you get to reap their rewards
with them! So be very careful. I could make a long study on the various idiotic practices
going on in many Church organizations today, which are designed by the 'higher critic' to
oppress those who would come to The Lord. Our Savior Christ set us 'free' by sacrificing
Himself on the cross, so how do you think He feels when some false prophet would try to
come between Him and one of God's believing children? How's one to know the difference?
Study The Word for yourself, that's how you'll know if these false creeds are taking
place.
Isa
10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from
the poor of My People, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the
fatherless!
I was
raised in a denominational Church, but there is no way, after truly studying and hearing
God's Word for myself, that I could revert back to a particular denomination system
that uses a bunch of 'creeds' that are not written in God's Word. The Books of
Romans, Timothy, and all of God's
Word for that matter, let us know what is to be taught and carried out in His Church, and
man's traditions put shackles on the assembly, not God's Word. Ever heard this: "We
don't live in the Old Testament anymore, it's all history?" How in the world could
someone know if they've never truly studied the Old Testament? Our Nation's law system
came from this God's Law of The Old Testament, so how is it many can say we don't live in
The Old Testament anymore, or that all of God's Law is now somehow
done away with? Is it maybe to get
us off track from following God's Law, creating this condition of turning 'aside the
needy from judgment'? Hey, that's not all they're saying. Many today would say that
our U.S. Constitution is outdated, and needs to be changed. Why? Because today's
'interpretation of law' rarely fits God's Law, so naturally they wish to change our
Constitution, it being based on God's Law.
I also know several who are adept at quoting Bible
verses, but they don't have a clue to most of what they quote. And what about this one:
"I get up every morning and open up my Bible, and whatever the verse I read, well
that's meant for me that day." I call that 'Biblical butchery', plain and simple. It's also practicing a form of divination opening up our Father's
Word like a roulette wheel, and click, click...that's my verse for today! Ever heard of
Tarot cards? That's exactly what's done with them, in order to divine. How can we apply
one verse from God's Word to His overall Message in that Chapter or Book, doing just one
verse at a time? This is a very popular practice, for you can go all over the Internet to
many Christian's sites, and you'll discover it every day. Ok, I'll calm down, but just a
little. I'm just saying that God wants His Word to speak forward, not ours.
When someone just takes one verse from The Bible, and then goes on a philosophical
discourse with it, well..., then who's set of ideas is being taught, that man's or God's
Mind?
You know, many of our good senior citizens, who are needy
themselves, will cut their funds in order to give to some 'sweet-talking' 'super preacher'
who has a couple of Roles Royces and a swimming pool, etc. The word 'needy' is 'dal'
in the Hebrew, and means 'dangling, i.e. (by implication) weak or thin' (Strong's
no.1800). So these 'needy' are not only 'ripped off' of their funds, but they are
left 'dangling' in God's Truth also, which teaching The Word is what these
prophets are supposed to be responsible for. Even Christ warned us to "...beware
of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees" in Matt.16 and Mark 8. The
teachings and traditions of the Pharisees and Sadducees represent 'creeds' and unrighteous
doctrines which put the People in 'prison', in bondage, yet some try to teach Christ meant
to beware of just those two particular religious sects, and some think all Jews. Not so,
for it's the 'systems' they were binding the People with, false creeds and traditions
foreign to God's Word. This meant Christ was teaching His Apostles and us today that it
can still go on, and it does in many Church systems; the names of the 'sects' are
different, that's all. Watch out for the 'leaven', meaning 'doctrines' that are taught,
not how nice the teacher can talk, or walk, or dress, and what kind of family they're
from.
Isa 10:3 And
what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which
shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave
your glory?
God is
speaking directly to these false prophets here, and to those whom they deceive. He's
saying, "What are you going to do when I return, and even before, when 'the false
one', i.e., Satan playing 'a spurious Messiah', comes upon you when he's cast
down to earth, and causes the 'abomination of desolation'? Since you don't
listen to Me, but your own lying vanity instead, you don't have your feet upon solid
ground. How will you 'secure' ('leave') your glory that you've built up
for yourself among My People in their eyes?" Some of these so-called teachers of
God's Word are going to be sorely 'ashamed' when Christ returns, because they did not
stick to God's Word. The world purposefully teaches us to believe those with many
university credentials on the end of their names, as experts, but many of them can't find
their way out of a paper bag. I'm saying many, not all, and I'm saying that out of love.
Why? Because just like the state in ancient Athens, with a multitude of different 'gods',
much of today's university system denies The True God, and they build their 'castles' upon
'sand', instead of 'The Rock', and it will fall with a false foundation. Think for
yourself. Many use the 'precepts' of others to teach God's Word with instead of thinking
for themselves and using The Word to verify. Be aware and check me out too.
Isa 10:4
Without Me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain.
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Remember
back to Isaiah 2:19, when all those who are 'puffed up' and glory in themselves will go
into the 'holes of the rocks and into the caves of the earth'? There's another
parallel to this event written in Rev.6 and 9. This signifies the return of Christ, and
there just 'ain't' no place to hide. These will even seek death and wish for the rocks to
fall upon them, but all alive then will be changed into their spiritual body, casting off
the flesh of this 'aion', or 'world age', in order to usher in God's Millennium.
Some of these false prophets are the 'five foolish virgins', for they intend to worship
and follow Christ, but the 'trap' is just too much for them, and they follow Kenite (sons of Cain) doctrine
instead handed down from their religious organization. Since they deceive themselves, they
will worship the 'false Messiah', the 'Assyrian' of this Book of Isaiah, who is but a
'type' for Satan in our future. For this cause, many others will also be deceived and
worship this false 'spurious Messiah' (pseudochristos). Don't you be in
that crowd, for many think correctness is with the majority.
For this reason of turning away from our True Father, The
Father of all souls, He's still angry, and more punishment is yet forthcoming! But for
those who know our True Father, listening and following Him, we have beautiful things
prepared for us that we can't even understand while in this flesh (see 1 Cor.2).
Isa 10:5 O
Assyrian!, the rod of Mine anger, and the staff in their hand is
Mine indignation.
This 'Assyrian' is but a type of the Antichrist of
our future. He is a 'rod' of God's anger to those who don't seek and
worship Yehovah through His Son Jesus Christ. This word 'staff' is 'matteh'
in the Hebrew derived from the root 'natah', and means 'to stretch out; by
implication, to bend away (including moral deflection' (Strong's nos. 4294; 5186).
God's hand is still stretched out in anger, and this is the rod He's using. I mean, this 'rod'
is Satan himself our Father is using, but how? The world is being prepared for Satan
coming as 'a spurious messiah' by the false prophets and Kenite controls with
false "secret rapture" doctrines, etc., and God is going to show even those who love Him who
would rather go chasing after false systems and idols just how ignorant they are, giving
them 'strong delusion' (see 2 Thess.2). It's that simple. God is revealing
here in Isaiah to those who truly love Him enough to study His Word, just how He's going
to accomplish it. This is not for the atheist types. They don't care about our
Father, so more than likely, they're not even going to read His Letter. Do you understand
now why Christ would teach in Mark 13; Matt.24, and Luke 21 to let no man deceive you?
Isa 10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical
nation, and against the People of My wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil,
and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
Again, this is God sending Satan as 'a spurious messiah'.
God is doing this, for He is in control, and no other. You should recall from earlier
in Isaiah, about the 'spoil' and 'prey', and especially the 'beasts' Kenites who 'trod'
down the 'vineyard' in Isaiah 5:5. Then Isa.5:7 singles out both 'houses', the 'house
of Israel', which are the western Christian nations, and the 'house of Judah'. Many
think and are teaching that these things of Old Testament prophecy are meant only for the
Nation of Israel and the Jews over in the middle east, but not so. (See my Lost Tribes study to learn more about the two 'houses' of Israel.) Notice the word 'People'
here? God is letting us know that this deception He's allowing and in control of is
against those of His People, those deceived from both 'houses of Israel', not just for the
non-believer. It means our own ideas of seeking and worshiping Him is not enough. We must
do it His Way, not ours. This is why He really loves us when we get down to an in-depth
study of His Word, learning how to properly worship and follow Him, instead of letting
some 'system' of man come in-between. We as children wouldn't use anyone to come between
our paternal father, and The Father of our souls feels no different if we let some man or
system come between us and Him.
Isa
10:7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it
is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
This
is still talking about the 'Assyrian'. This Assyrian here during Isaiah's time
was Sargon, but he is given as a type for us today, as Satan will be the Assyrian of the
future. It will become more plain when we reach Isaiah 14.
Here in this verse, Satan actually thinks that he is the one
in control, and by his power these events will happen. The word 'destroy'
is 'shamad' in Hebrew meaning 'to desolate' (Strong's no.8045), pointing
to Satan sitting in the Temple as a false messiah, the 'abomination of desolation'
of Daniel Chapters 9, 11, and 12. These 'nations' is the word 'gowy' or
'goy', and even 'goyim' in the Hebrew, meaning 'a foreign nation, hence a Gentile'
(Strong's no.1471). This refers to the 'New World Order' of one world government, now
in the final stages today, and will cover all nations upon the earth, even those of God's
People, of which sadly, the majority will be deceived and think this 'false messiah' is
Christ.
Isa
10:8 For he saith, "Are not my princes altogether kings?
These 'princes' are the ten false kings of this New
'Babylon' World Order. They are given also in Daniel 7:24 and Revelation 17.
They reside over ten separate kingdoms of the earth. I'm sure we will soon see this 'ten
kingdom' division come forth, as the loss of sovereignty from all nations is now also in
the final stages. Don't be fooled into thinking that they have to 'literally' throw away
each nation's constitution in order to achieve this. They only have to stop following
it, then it becomes just a 'piece of paper' with ink on it. How is it today in America? If
our leaders vote for this U.N. International Tribunal Court, what does that mean for
Judicial law based on our Constitution?
Isa
10:9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is
not Samaria as Damascus?
'Calno' is 'Kalneh' in the Hebrew, and means 'fortress
of Anu, a city of Babylonia'; the word 'Carchemish' is 'fortress of
Chemosh, a Hittite capitol' (Strong's no.3641; Brown-Driver & Briggs). Need I
tell you which false kingdom these represent? How's this; 'Hamath' is also
called 'Hemath', 'a city in Syria, AND for 'the father of the house of Rechab'
(Strong's no.2574). This 'Hemath' as written in 1 Chronicles 2:55 is from the 'house
of Rechab', the Kenites. And what does the word 'Kenite' mean in God's Word? It
means 'son of Cain' (Strong's no.7014), and Cain was the first murderer, and the
first 'son of bel' (my opinion based on the Assyrian tablets), and 'bel' was the false
'god' of Babylonia, who is Satan, i.e., this 'Assyrian' here in prophecy. All
these cities in this verse belonged to Assyria. Well what about 'Samaria', didn't
the 'house of Israel', the ten northern tribes dwell there? Yes, they did at first,
but as written in I & II Kings, this Assyrian of Isaiah's time, Sargon (prince of
the sun), took all ten tribes into captivity to the land of Assyria, and then brought in foreign peoples from five nations to live in Samaria
instead. They
would later be called Samaritans.
This short verse says a lot, and it's so easy to just skip over it.
These cities form a line to Jerusalem from Nineveh, the capital city of Assyria.
This is why Jonah didn't want to go there and preach God's Word to Nineveh, as God
commanded him, so he even jumped out of the boat, hoping he would drown. God caused the
'big fish' to spit Jonah up right on the shores of Nineveh. Why didn't he want to
go? Because he evidently knew prophecy of the coming fate of the northern ten tribes
of Israel, his brethren, who would be taken captive to Assyria around 609 B.C. What's the
lesson? If God has called you to go do something, then you are not going to get out
of it, unless you want all kinds of 'calamities' to befall you, and even then, you'll
probably wind up accomplishing what God set out for you anyway.
Isa 10:10
As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did
excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
This is still Sargon, the king of Assyria (but Satan of our future) talking at this verse.
He's being awfully mocking isn't he? He's even saying that Jerusalem and Samaria,
i.e., God's People, who worship Jehovah, are a bunch of 'idol worshippers' by worshipping
our Father instead of him (Satan). What audacity.
Isa
10:11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to
Jerusalem and her idols?"
Again, this happened historically with Sargon as king of
Assyria., but... it's not over yet, for it's going to happen again to this last generation
now, covering the whole earth. Sargon as king of Assyria did not conquer Jerusalem,
but Samaria. So then, the phrase 'so do to Jerusalem and her idols' hasn't
happened yet. I realize that Nebuchadnezzar took the house of Judah in the captivity to
Babylon, but not Sargon. Isa.10:12 will reveal the distinction of this phrase more
clearly, and we'll begin there in the next Letter.
Peace be with you in
Christ Jesus,
Dave Ramey.
