Genesis 6:1 - 6:22

The last Letter on Genesis talked about Noah having waited until he was 500 hundred years old to have offspring. It was mentioned that God pulled Enoch out of the mess upon the earth at that time, for Enoch did not die. The Book of Jude also refers to some of Enoch's prophecy dealing with these 'fallen angels', and Enoch's grandson Noah must have known of this 'mating' of flesh daughters with these 'fallen angels' also.
This Chapter 6 of Genesis is very important in the fact that many 'myths' and legends are revealed through the mystery of these 'sons of God' who mated with flesh woman on earth to produce flesh offspring. Being caught up as much as we are today in our daily lives in the flesh, it may be difficult to relate to this event, but it is written in God's Word. As said before concerning the conception and birth of Jesus Christ through Mary, and the mysterious conception dealing with Eve's offspring Cain, either you believe God's Word, or you don't. As long as one understands that the following teaching is not my opinion, but God's Word, then there should be no misconceptions or confusion formed.

This Chapter 6 of Genesis, I have never personally heard taught in Church. If your Church is doing likewise, then it's time to ask yourself first why, and then your Church leaders why. In my opinion, this Chapter 6 is rarely taught because some wish to hide the Truth It contains, and others, well, they're still arguing over 'works vs. grace' and such (we are saved by 'grace', but your works follow you to heaven; see Rev.14:13). Well you can be assured that any special Truth revealing God's deeper Word which helps to unlock the understanding of the rest of His Word will be strongly attacked by Satan and his workers, especially today. This is the reason for so much controversy over this Chapter in Genesis. No problem though, IF, we stick to what God says, and not man's word.
We ask a word of Wisdom from our Father in Christ's Name, Amen.

Gen 6:1   And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

The statement in verse 1, "...when men began to multiply on the face of the earth...", refers back in time before and, leading up to Noah's time. By this verse we should understand that this unholy mating of the 'fallen angels' was happening right before Enoch and Noah's eyes. They could see it. Naturally then, the morals of the children of 'the man Adam' were in decay also. But moral decline was only part of the 'effect' of Noah's time, and not the only cause of God bringing that flood of destruction.
The word 'men' in this verse is singular with the article in the Hebrew, meaning 'this man Adam', i.e., the 'eth' Ha' adham' whom God placed in the Garden of Eden. It's not referring to the sixth day races of 'adam' without the article, meaning 'general mankind'. Thus, these 'daughters' here are talking about the daughters of the particular 'eth' Ha' adham' and Eve placed in God's Garden in Eden, not the people of the land of Nod, nor of Cain the 'son of bel'.

Gen. 6:2   That the sons of God saw the daughters of men (Ha'adham) that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

These 'fallen angels' are taking 'wives' of the bloodline of Adam and Eve. It's safe to say these angels also did the same with the various races of mankind also, though it's not written here. We are given the family history of 'eth Ha'adham' here, not of the other races. Why might that be important? Well, what's the reason why God wanted to keep this particular bloodline of the 'eth Ha'adham' pure? It was to be the bloodline of Christ, the Seed of the Woman remember? Naturally then Satan knew this, and he tried to 'taint' it, in hopes of later preventing Christ's birth in the flesh. That's the reason for this act by the fallen angels, who serve Satan and rebel against God.
Why are they called 'sons of God'?  (I covered the meaning of 'sons of God' back in my Gen.1:26 Letter. Go back and read it for a better understanding of this phrase.) Let's now turn to the Book of Jude:

Jude 1:3   Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4    For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

This Book of Jude was written by "Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James", as stated in Jude 1:1. His message was concerning false teachers who had 'crept' into Christ's Church during his time, as verse 4 above clearly points out. But notice the words 'who were before of old ordained to this condemnation'. What time 'of old'? And how could they be ordained to this condemnation of false teaching? Don't read anything into it, it means just what it says; they were 'destined' for this act of teaching against Christ because they followed Satan in that time 'of old', not God. Let's continue further, because Judas is going to mention others similar to these which were written of in the Old Testament, and what their 'condemnation' was, and this is why we came here to this Book of Jude:

Jude 1:5   I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

Jude is comparing the 'crept in unawares' to the Egyptian rebellion against God and His People during the Exodus led by Moses. God destroyed those of Egypt who came after His People, as these false teachers who purposefully misrepresent Christ and The Word will be also. This is why it is very important for each to read God's Word with understanding and guidance from God, not just listening to some man with a bunch of worldly credentials telling you that all you have to do is 'believe'. A true Christian should be able to check their Pastor out, and that's what the doctrine guides and hierarchy of Christ's Church are given for in the Books of Timothy, and many other of Paul's Epistles.

Jude 1:6    And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Here's why we came here in Jude. So these 'fallen angels', or 'sons of God' as they are called in Gen.6:2, left their 'original state' or hierarchy of order in God's creation. This may have something to do with just how they were able to impregnate flesh woman as written in Gen.6.
Many have a hard time understanding just what an 'angel' is. The word 'angel' simply means 'a messenger' ('aggello' in the Greek, Strong's no. 32). So angels are just 'sons of God', as also we who accept Christ now are called 'sons of God' (John 1:12; Romans 8:14; Philippians 2:15; 1 John 3), the difference being, we are in the flesh body with our spiritual body inside; the angels are in the spiritual body with no flesh. We will be in that same angelic state when we cast off our flesh also, revealing the spiritual body (see I Cor.15).

Many think of angels as being similar to 'zoan', or the special spirit beings God created to surround and protect His Throne (see Ezekiel). When Christ was asked about a woman who had seven husbands in the flesh, and when she dies, which one of her dead husbands would she be married to in heaven, Jesus replied, "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." (Matthew 22:30).  In Rev.19, John bowed down to worship an angel about to give him a message, and the angel said not to do it (bow), for he was a "...fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus...". That particular angel speaking to John had once been born flesh, through woman's womb, just like us, and then had cast the flesh off during death upon this earth (see Ecclesiastes 12; 1 Corinthians 15).

Jude 1:7    Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude is also comparing these acts of Sodom and Gomorrah to the 'mating' with the flesh daughters of 'eth'Ha'adham' in Gen.6, the lusting after 'strange flesh'.
To sum up this teaching so far, these 'sons of God' in Gen.6:2 are 'fallen ones', i.e., fallen angels, meaning they kept not their first estate or place of separation, but lusted after flesh woman, particularly the daughters of 'the man Adam', the bloodline from which Christ was to be born from, and this mating by these angels produced 'giants' as we'll soon discover in this 6th Chapter of Genesis.

Gen 6:3   And the LORD said, "My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."

The word 'spirit' is 'ruwach' in the Hebrew meaning 'wind, by resemblance breath' (Strong's no.7307). This is the 'breath of Life' which God breathed into Adam when He formed him, and is the same 'ruwach' which we each now have that makes up our spiritual body inside the flesh body (see I Cor.15).
This word 'he' is emphatic in the Hebrew manuscripts, and has the article as Gen.6:1 & 2, and means 'the man Adam', not general mankind upon the earth. As said before, Satan knew the family of the Woman from whom Christ would be born of, and he was trying to stop it, just as his little conception with Eve in the Garden produced his offspring of Cain in the flesh (see my past Genesis Letters documenting Satan's offspring). The word 'also' is 'shagag' in the Hebrew, meaning 'to stray, commit sin' (Strong's no.7683). The phrase 'yet his days' refer back to 'the Adam', who at this time was 810 years old, and he was given 120 years more, equaling the total years of  'the man Adam' to 930 years (Gen.5:5). This is also one of the lengths of today's generation, that of 120 years.

Gen 6:4   There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

'Those days' mean Noah's days; 'also after that' means after Noah's days, or later also after the flood of Noah's time. We know this to be true since the Israelites did battle with this giant race, even David slaying Goliath. The word 'giants' is 'nephiyl' in the Hebrew, and is from the root 'naphal' meaning 'to fall' (Strong's nos.5303 & 5307). This is where the idea of 'fallen angels' comes from. The Nephilim fell to earth in sin with flesh daughters of 'the Adam', literally. This is not myth or storytelling. They are coming here to earth again as written in Rev.12 & 13. In Jude 1:6, after this flood of Noah's time, God reserved these fallen angels in 'everlasting chains' until the
judgment day. The offspring of giants were of their own, retaining the sacred knowledge of the spiritual realms, while in the flesh body. It is written in II Samuel 21:20 in Gath that there was one of these giants who had on every hand 'six fingers', and on every foot 'six toes'. In other words, they were hybrids, having left their habitation which they chose in rebelling against God by following Satan; thus they were easily singled out in the flesh as a hybrid race of beings of great stature. They became the 'mighty men' of 'old', meaning they retained the knowledge of the spirit realm while in the flesh, having great power upon the earth. The word 'renown' is 'shem' in Hebrew meaning 'name, reputation, fame, glory' (Strong's no.8034 & Brown-Driver-Briggs 8034). This means they were the 'men of name', which is to say, the men of legend, the gods of ancient mythology. So accordingly here in God's Word, the legendary heroes (mighty men) of the Greek, Egyptian, Roman, Hindu, etc. mythologies were actual events, twisted through folklore handed down through time.
This may be hard to believe for many today, because of all the false teachings we are bombarded with in the public schools and university systems, and even by our mass media. In Deut.3:11, The Word speaks of king Og of Bashan whose 'bedstead' (funeral bed), was nine cubits long and four cubits wide. That is approximately 180 inches long by 80 inches wide. These cubits are also the dimensions of the tomb of Marduk, king of Babylon.1
Since these fallen ones were not meant by God to be born of woman in the flesh, this is the reason God caused the flood of Noah's time, and why He also commanded the Israelites to utterly destroy those nations they were mixed with because of a second irruption of these angels taking flesh wives again later after the flood (see Deut.20). We're going to document this this was God's reason for bringing the flood of Noah's time more in this 6th Chapter of Genesis as we go along. So this flood was not brought upon the earth merely because all mankind had turned morally corrupt only, but because of a mixing with Satan's host of fallen angels. It's as simple as that.

Gen 6:5    And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6    And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.

Some try to explain that this 'wickedness' just happened with no other apparent cause than the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve did break God's first given Commandment, bringing the state of flesh sin, but there was more going on here with the state of evil upon the earth at this point during Noah's day. If a teacher just skips over this 6th Chapter of Genesis, that's about all that can be relied on as backup, but when you read God's Word, especially in Gen.6, we know the influx of the fallen angels with flesh woman, and the profaning of the Name of The Lord was the cause of all this wickedness upon the earth during Noah's time. The 'spiritual war' between the Seed of the Woman and Satan's 'seed' had well begun at this time and Satan was attacking that Seed of the 'eth' Ha'adham' (Gen.3:15).
Because of this terrible state of affairs upon the earth at that time, GOD was 'grieved' that He had made man also in the flesh, for all were already made in the spiritual and had existence in the first earth age (see Gen.2:1 in the Manuscripts with "all the host of them").

Gen 6:7   And the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them."

Since Satan was the cause of the overthrow (katabole) or rebellion against God in that time 'of old', long before this event of Noah's day, and God had to cleanse the earth then using water, the earth at the beginning of this second age of flesh had gone sour again, being polluted by Satan through his hosts of fallen angels. So naturally God didn't want to have to start this second age of flesh, putting the spirit of man into a flesh body, which made man more animalistic when sinking into evil, and this is why God 'repenteth' and was 'grieved' in His heart.
It is important to understand this idea of God being sorry that He made man on the earth. The actions of our Father are always perfect and 'good', as in Gen.1:31. Because He is 'longsuffering' towards His children, He wiped the first earth age clean for a new start to give all a chance to 'return' back to Him. If Satan had not rebelled, no fresh start on the earth would have been needed. This shows that God will not force anyone to love Him. Each must come to Him of their own free will. The flesh age was started in order to allow Salvation through His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, Immanuel ('God with us' in the Hebrew) to come to earth, to be born of woman in the flesh, then tried and crucified by the workers and seed of Satan, sealing the devil's own death sentence and those with him (see Heb.4). That God felt sorry in His heart that He had made man also flesh upon the earth for any other reason, is to say that God is human and not perfect, and can make mistakes. And that false type of reasoning exists within some atheistic circles because they do not understand God's overall Plan of Salvation. Furthermore, when a Church or proclaimed teacher of God's Word fails at properly teaching these verses here in Gen.6, it misrepresents Christianity to the non-believer, driving them away to man's systems of philosophy. And that's how many atheists interpret the reason why God was sorry He made man on the earth, saying that He couldn't quite get it right the first time. That false outlook is a gross error in understanding the Truth.

Gen 6:8  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9    THESE are THE GENERATIONS OF NOAH: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10  And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah found 'grace' because he was aware of the fallen angels intermixing, so he kept his bloodline pure from 'the man Adam' and most of all, obeyed God which will always bring you God's blessings. Let's document that this is talking about bloodline lineage purity also in this verse. The word 'GENERATIONS' is 'towledah' in the Hebrew which is the plural of the root 'yalad', which means 'to bear young, causatively, to beget, medically to act as midwife, specifically to show lineage' (Strong's nos. 8435 & 3205). The word 'perfect' is Hebrew 'tamiym', meaning 'without spot or blemish as to pedigree', the same word used when speaking of the purity of a sacrificial lamb for sacrifice.2   Noah was 'perfect in his generations' because his bloodline had not been tainted with the sons of Cain given back in Gen.4, nor with the fallen angels here in Gen.6. This was another purpose for the giving of the GENERATIONS OF ADAM back in the last Chapter of Genesis, which started with 'the particular man Adam' and ended with Noah. So Noah found 'grace' from God not only for his moral purity and that he 'walked with God', but especially for his kept bloodline purity, because this was to be the lineage for Christ's birth remember?

Gen 6:11   The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12    And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

'All flesh', except of course Noah and his family had become corrupt and impure by the mixing with the fallen angels. This includes the other races of 'adam' without the article also.

Gen 6:13   And God said unto Noah, "The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

The word 'with' in 'with the earth' means 'from' also, as God did not literally destroy the earth into nothing, but merely cleansed it, again, as at the beginning of this flesh age (Strong's no.854 & 579).

Gen 6:14   Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

This first occurrence of the word 'pitch' is 'kaphar' meaning 'to cover' (Strong's no.3722). This word 'kaphar' is also the only Hebrew word in the Old Testament used for 'atonement' for sins. This makes the idea of Noah's Ark as being a symbol for even us today, in that if you don't have God's Word as a righteous 'covering' (i.e., atonement) to keep the waters of Satan's flood of lies out, your boat is going to sink! (see Rev.12).

As I hinted at within an earlier Letter, that the flood of Noah's time lasted 150 days upon the earth as written, this is also the time Satan's hosts are given to sting those not sealed with The Word of God in their foreheads, i.e., five months (150 days), as written in Rev.9, the time of Satan's tribulation shortened from 7 years for the sake of God's elect. Naturally then, since Genesis is the 'Front Cover' of God's Word, Revelation concludes these ideas as the 'Back Cover'. The Whole of The Word is your complete 'Covering'. If you have been studying with me, and understand what I'm talking about, then you are beginning to get that righteous 'Covering' and will not be deceived when Satan comes to earth in our near future proclaiming to be God ('a spurious Messiah'), for he will be an abomination to you, while those without God's 'Covering' will wrongly accept him as the Messiah.

Gen 6:15   And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
16    A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17    And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
18    But with thee will I establish My covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

A cubit is anywhere around 17.5 to 25 inches, so this is a pretty large 'house boat', as is the meaning of the word 'ark' in Hebrew back in v.14 (around 500 feet long).
Notice in verse 18 God is giving Noah a Covenant promise? This has to do with the Promise of Seedline heritage because of Christ. All souls included here are eight 'Adamic' souls. Remember that I said 'Adamic' souls, meaning from the family of 'eth Ha'adham'.

Gen 6:19  And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female

Notice this verse says 'of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort'? Might that include two of each sixth day creation races also? We know those various races are still with us today. Further, that the sons of Cain (Kenites) also made it through this flood can be discovered later in The Word. Some falsely teach that the black race descended from Ham, a son of Noah. But Ham is of Adamic stock from Adam and Eve, not the sixth day races of 'adam'. The only other explanation is that this flood of Noah's time did not cover the 'entire earth', as the word for 'earth' here in this Chapter 6 is 'erets' in the Hebrew and can also mean 'a geographical land or soil'. Some areas of ancient writings by old civilizations record about a great flood in their region, but others do not. I'm sure there will be more evidence in our time that will shed more light on the flood of Noah's time, and I'm looking for it.
The important matter is to realize that other peoples not of the Adamic bloodline made it through this flood written of here in The Word. All we have to do is look around us, for there is no evidence in God's Word that two of Adamic stock produced the black race. The false teaching that the sin of Ham, a son of Noah, somehow produced the
Negro race is but a dream castle with no evidence from The Word. The real act of Ham's sin can easily be discovered from The Word in Leviticus 18 & 20, and even Ham's offspring Canaan was Adamic.

Gen 6:20   Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21    And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them."
22    Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

What kind of 'food that is eaten' is this? Man was not given animal meat yet until later, after the flood, so this 'food' is vegetables, grains, herbs, and fruit, which the animals aboard the Ark were to eat also. (Keep this 'animal' meat for food idea in according with Gen.1 and Gen.9).

These fallen angels or 'sons of God' evidently caused a second irruption of offspring, called 'giants', as they sprang back up after Noah's flood also, as alluded to with 'also after that' or after the days of Noah, as written back in Gen.6:4. Our Lord Jesus also gave the warning that the last days before His return would be just like the days of Noe (Greek for Noah), in that these fallen angels would be taking and giving in marriage again. Rev.12 & 13 records that Satan and his host of angels will be cast down to earth performing miracles in the sight of men. Paul would warn that a woman must have this 'righteous Cover' of the Power of Christ over her head 'because of the angels' (1 Cor.11:10). This hasn't happened yet, but I personally feel it's not far off, and based on the knowledge of the 'parable of the fig tree', those living today will see these events of Christ's return. As stated before, we must have the True Cover of Atonement, Which is Christ, in order to be prepared for the ensuing battle now ready to come upon us in this age. Ephesians 6 describes The Armour needed in the near future. I pray you all have It.

Peace unto you in Christ Jesus,
Dave Ramey.
